No it won't. As for AMD, they are never going to get another dime out of me. My last 3 cards have been nVidia and I have had nowhere near the problems with drivers that I've always had with every, single ATI product I've ever owned. They don't deserve my money. As for PSU, I also recommend PCP&C. I have the same PSU that Ect linked, just in the less gaudy black. And for the RAM debate. 32-bit Windows XP/Vista can only address a total of 4GB of RAM, but that includes video RAM (and possibly processor cache, but I'm not sure). So the more RAM on your videocard the less system RAM that will be used.

Unfortunately the only people who have a valid opinion are the ones that have experienced life both ways...that means being circumcized later in life. Anyone else is just talking out of their ass. I can't speak for the "new" 24" Dell, the 2408WFP because they changed the LCD panel from my 2407WFP. But, if you can find a 2407WFP go for it. I paid $630 for mine with some stacked coupons and free shipping back when it was new. The 2408WFP is $680 now, so with coupons you should be able to get it pretty cheap. Avoid any "E" model Dell monitors, they are the budget models and have subpar panels, you are better off looking at other brands.

I re-installed it over the weekend then played it for about 20 minutes. FYI - If you have problems running it use DirectDraw2 and if you are in XP run it in compatability mode.

We drove down to the site today and they've started on the first floor. It was actually good because I've been wanting to ask him something. When we stopped Sunday night and took the pics of the chalk lines we noticed that quite a few pipes were not within the walls... It turns out that the original plumber was in a serious car wreck and all the diagrams/etc were in his truck and destroyed. So they had to have someone else come in and lay the pipes based on the architectural drawings, because of this the pipes ended up being put in slightly incorrectly. He said it's a lot of work to fix, but it won't slow us down since they can fix it while the carpenters are working on the 2nd floor and it should be all fixed by the end of next week. They have to dig the concrete out, move the pipes and then re-set new concrete.
