Armor scales (ratios out) per level and experiences diminishing returns with the more AC you have. The percent reduction of 1k AC @level 30 does not equal the percent reduction of 1k AV @level 70. Adding 1k AC to 10k AC @level 70 does not equal the same percent increase that adding 1k AC to 16k @level 70. Currently with my PvP gear with 1+shield I have roughly 16k AC (no talents) which translates to ~60% reduction. To reach the cap of 75% mitigation you need 31k AC. Your logic doesn't sound very deep. In fact it sounds only like an opinion with no facts to support legalization. Marijuana is where the government drew the line on mind altering substances. No its not as potent as heroin or crack, but you still have to draw the line somewhere. Every drug has its 'volatility' when it comes to the government, int he case of marijuana, many feel penalties are too stiff and too varying. Case in point. I was in court awhile back for rolling my car. The judge basically told a gentleman who was caught with less than an ounce that it was stupid to plead guilty of possession because of the amount and substance itself. Unfortunately the guy didn't get the hint and still plead guilty. Its illegal because its been defined as a drug, but most people will agree including some law enforcement-government when it comes to small amounts its stupid to heavily prosecute because there are more important things they could be pursuing.

I don't think the winning and losing of AV really had anything to do with AV itself. AV itself hasn't changed that much (IE: No more dismounting when riding through the FW base.
