Yeah, but it's just so fun watching Vanin go Berzerker Barrage on everything in sight. lol. That guy's a nut job!

Just a few hours ago, I did my first run through The Deamines. Even better was the fact that everyone in our party was both a member of the FP and an RL friend of mine. Since my first day on WoW, this marked the first time that all four of us were on at once. The party consisted of myself(level 24 hunter), Honki(level 21 warlock) and Potionyguy(level 17 mage and Dragonlgnd's alt). Tried as we might, we couldn't get two more people to join the ranks. So, we looked to another FP member...Vanin! Yeah, our party was pretty much the equivalent of if all four stooges were running Deadmines together...laughs and violence. We went in ahead of Vanin and waited for him to finish what he was doing(I think it was BWL...can't remember). As soon as he arrived...well, the rest of us barely did much of squat! Letting Vanin run around that place like a berserk wolverine on too much crack was like taking all of the baddies and throwing them in a queisinart. I have never actually seen a 60 play, so I was pretty much awe-struck at the sheer destructive force of one level 60 warrior. It was like watching the Hulk fight Spider-Man villians. Before this, I wanted 60. Now...I NEED 60! It has now become a requirement to reach the pinnacle; the highest callibur a character can achieve. Somewhere between annihilating First Mate...whatever and attempting to reach Van Cleef, I took a wrong turn and ran into 2 baddies solo. I died. It took me about 10 to 15 minutes to finally get back to the others, and by then...Van Cleef was dead! I missed out! Worst of all...NO LOOT! Potionyguy got a blue...Honki got 2 blues...all I was doing was singing the blues. Now, here's where stuff gets really funny. As the other two decide that we'll try and take Chef, Honki sneaks up to the edge of the ship, waiting to jump down. I try to follow...only to fall RIGHT on top of Chef and about 5 of his minions! I mean, I landed square on the dude's noggin! As we were all getting utterly obliterated(by this point, Vanin had left us to fend for ourselves...and missed all the humor), I'm practically rolling on the floor in laughter. We died and spirit ressed back at Westfall. For all the trouble, I completed 1 of the 4 Deadmines quests, got no flashy blue items(but quite a few new greens), and had by far one of the greatest times I can remember. Nothing beats going in an instance with four friends and leaving with 3 of us dead and one Vanin completely unscathed. Best part of all is...we'll probably give this another go around soon! I can't wait. Especially now that I know where to make that turn.

So, how do you get the photos to look exactly like the characters? I think that is so amazing. My stepdad is huge into photoshop stuff: I should send him some of these to look at. Do you do this stuff for the majors in FP, and is there a fee? I'd love to have something cool like that one day. All I can draw are stick figures...and even those look mutated. lol.

I have a question. Where does everyone get all these neato signature pics and moving icons? Though I have much love for my little Interceptor logo(ninja's best friend), I still think it would be sweet to have something more...flashy. I like stangmeister's turtle and loofa's pic of him getting owned by Hogger...those crack me up!

Ha ha! TMI, Soma...TMI! Oh, and I know I get good XP finishing quests, but I also need the XP from killing all the stuff. Especially since I know there is a whole bunch of stuff to kill. I gained an entire level just walking around and killing the Mo'groh Ogres near the Loch...even after I finished the Mercenaries quest. At 200+ experience a pop solo, it was a great place to go for some moderately easy leveling, as well as pretty decent loot. And I'm all about loot!

There are three bosses? Hmmm...I know Van Whats-his-face and that other gnoll-thing. What's the third, and is there a quest I should pick up on him before I go in?

Two firsts will happen in WoW for me this evening. One is that I will run through my very first instance in the game. The Deadmines. I've actually had this quest in my log for about a week now, and wanted to wait for a day when I could actually spend a few hours exploring the entire area of the dungeon. Also, I wanted to be a little above the level curve(I am 24 now). I'll be running this with my friend and fellow FP member Spugnor(who is also a RL friend) or his alt, as well as maybe Potionyguy(Dragonlgnd's alt, and also a RL friend) if both work and his crap PC don't keep him offline. I have recieved some offers from 60's in the guild to help do this run with me(thanks Vanin and Sanctity), but in the end, it comes down to one thing. I NEED XP. I can't get to 60 myself if I'm only getting 6-10 experience per kill in semi-major areas. The more stuff I kill, the closer I get to Onyxia and AQ's and all the yummy, purple-dropping goodness that I know I'm nowhere near being able to do at this time. Also, in completing The Deadmines(in particular, VC), I will recieve my first blue! I'm tired of looking at all those semi-impressive greens on my hunter. It's time to get some color upgrades. I don't even know at this point what the next instance I will encounter will be, but I know that The Deadmines is about to choke on a nasty mouthful of Triggahapy...and his little dog, too!

Don't worry, codeman. The days will soon come when you graduate high school and your parents tell you that it's time for you to start pulling your weight around the house...and by that, they mean help with the bills.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=13448166 Geez, that seems lengthy for a simple little myspace page, but I copied that straight from my browser after checking out my page. Hope that worked, and sorry for the bad link. Told ya I was no Internet whiz...lol.

lol. My boss can suck an egg once that happens. I'll just call out 6 hours prior, and there's nothing he can do about it. I'm too important to get rid of that easily.

Since I have joined the FP, I have grown an even greater distaste for going to work. Work keeps me from leveling. I hate going to work almost as much as I hate horde. I get tired of getting ganked by 60's when I am only 30-something levels below them...what's the deal with that? Does my dwarf just scream, "I'm level 23! Please, kill me!" If it does, he and I have to have a serious talk about that. Thank goodness that after Tuesday, I get a 4-day weekend. Plenty of time to make it to 30!

My name is Jason. My myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/jrshoe. At least, I think it is. I'm no Internet whiz. That sounds right, though. Besides, if there is anyone else with a nickname like JrShoe, I'll sue them for copyright infringement.

I just wanted to thank all of the guys and gals who warmingly welcomed me into the guild yesterday, and Vanin for sending me the invite. He's not such a bad guy after all...lol! I had alot of fun chatting with everyone in guild chat, and look forward to getting to know more members of the guild. Since I turned in my application Thursday evening, I have already gained 2 levels. I am on a decent pace to make 60 in 2 months, so that then I can be a bigger contributor to the group. Also, I have seen that there are a few people in the guild who are in my level range. I wanted to extend an invite to anyone who feels ready to run Deadmines with me Wednesday. I would much rather run my first instance with fellow FP members than anyone else. Anyone who is interested can just leave a post here or e-mail me. My e-mail is jrshoe5714@yahoo.com. Wednesday, I should be on WoW around 5 p.m. EST. Until then, I'll just have to settle for killing those stupid elite ogres near Thelsamar.
