I wanted to thank everybody that I met at the big FP extravaganza this weekend for taking me in and making me feel like a part of the team. It was a fantastic experience, and I would be honored to attend many more of these in the future. Everyone was very nice, and it was great meeting each and every one of you (even Plumpy...sorry...but I had to throw that in there lol). I feel I have gained more than just friends after this past weekend. I have gained a family. And I must say that I am so glad to be a part of this family. It's wonderful to know that I never once made a mistake in joining the Forgotten Prophets, and I would never consider leaving for anything. This is my home now, and it is here I plan to continue to grow, learn, laugh, and gain levels in the expansion. Thanks for showing me a great time. To Gynis and Stang and Ghosty and everyone else who makes this guild what it is...thanks for adopting me. You made my mom's ultimate wish come true. lmao!

I hope I didn't keep my adoring public awaiting my triumphant return for too long! lol! Anyway, I started back up on my whole writing gig again...and as before, I would love to share with everyone in the most ub3r l33t guild ever! This new one I wrote at work...I was incredibly bored and I had a piece of paper handy. It doesn't really fall under any particular poetry writing style...it's just random.material. Well...hope everyone enjoys! Setting Sun I look to the horizon and see the rising sun. Her beauty captivates my heart; her radiance keeps me warm. As she rises through the sky, I cannot help but be in awe. Her brilliant light shines down on me. She makes me feel so whole. She reaches the apex of her ascent, abd at this point, I know nothing else but her tender embrace; her kindness and care, and the feelings she empowers me with. But then the sun begins to set. As it spirals lower, I grow quite sad. I am not sure how I can go on without her heat and light with me. The sun slowly dips below the lines that separate night from day. I stare as she disappears from my sight. Shedding tears; for I do not know if she will return to me. "Why have you set on me?" I shout this as my heart yearns for warmth; for kindness once again. But it seems she has set on me forever. But as I sit alone and cold, I realize that a new day will come. And when it does, I will behold as a new sun rises once again.

Wait...I'm not in any of these pics! Praise Geebus I was spared!

Shad....what? Like...I don't know what form of language that was! lol BTW hope to have the pics I took up on here a.s.a.p.

All I have to say is...you're all a bunch of drunkies...and for once being surrounded by so many intoxicated people was entertaining. Probably because they all spoke English and didn't ask me for any "Gimme one dis". lol
-
We shoulda done drunken Wario Ware. That woulda been the best ever. And there was more than enough drunk. Hehe.
-
Youda just been playing Guitar Hero all day instead. I think that was the only form of entertainment the whole evening other than getting to see Stang's priest run around in the Beta version. But that game's rather addictive.

Two words...Mountain Dew. I mean...come on...what else would you bring to a geek party?
-
OMG hahaha that was too stupid funny!

Well, that's something I didn't know. Thank you for informing me. I always adhered to the old code of writing that a story should have the "pyramid"...build to a climax, then trail to a resolution. Though in today's go-go world where stories are pretty much just an e-mial printed on paperback, it does make sense that this would be adopted as a new literary style.

It could be worse, DL. Like...remember FF5, where the last boss is a tree? Come on...a tree! Maybe we should make a list of the 5 (or however many) games that we've played that were just really bad. hehe
-
Seriously....Top 5? And only one console? What about the Playstation? What about the Game Cube or DS? Seriously...a list of favorite games cannot be confined by such constrictions. Here's my top 10 of all-time. 1: Final Fantasy 6 (or 3 in the US)-SNES 2: Secret of Mana-SNES 3: Final Fantasy 7-PS 4: The Legend of Zelda-A Link to the Past-SNES 5: Super Mario Bros. 3-NES 6: Disgaea-PS2 (if I weren't such a fan of the old school, this would be #1 easy) 7: Xenosaga-PS2 8: Final Fantasy Tatics-PS 9: Super Metroid-SNES 10: Earthbound-SNES Honorable mentions: Sonic the Hedgehog, TMNT: Turtles in Time, X-Men Legends 2, Tetris, Mario Kart, Wario Ware, and Diablo 2 (have to have at least one PC game in there) There are probably tons that I'm forgetting just how much I loved playing, but that's my list. I left out sports games because, in general, they're all the same. But that's it! That's the list!

Anyone who isn't buying this is laaaaaaaaaaame! BTW hellz yeah I'm gettin it. Zelda = Best. I still have my Linkin's Sword of Mastery simply because of what it represents.

One last hurrah for FP with Gryph
Triggahapy replied to stangmeister's topic in News and Announcements
If you play card games and like comic book characters, Gryph, I have a game that you could play online with people. Totally free, too. If anyone is interested I can link the site to download what you need. -

Hehe...Lady...you're weird. You like hockey...that's so Canadian. But agreed on the Tigers. I told friends that they would be in the World Series 2 weeks before the All-Star break. I'm a big Pudge and Leyland fan, so I really hope they win it all. -
About the time of May 4th, I made a decision that would change my life forever. I installed World of Warcraft. Little did I suspect how much of an impact this would have on me. I just figured "Hey...my friends play. I'll go on every now and again and have fun with them." One month later, I had gained 20 levels. At this time, Vanin recruited me into the FP. The reception was very warm, and I felt I would relly enjoy myself in this guild. I was so right. Over the months that I have played, I have had many ups and downs. I grew weary of not being able to get into instance runs most days, and some times I really just wanted to take a break from it all. The grind, the stress of leveling. I did every so often, not being a player that would forget that there lies a world outside Azeroth called the real world. I've had so much fun, though. I have so many people to thank for my accomplishments. Vanin got me in, and so he's first on the list. Dragonlgnd, Fiordelisa, Ben, Honki, Aelora, and so many others that I may forget to mention....I have been able to group with both people's alts and their mains as I progressed onward towards my ultimate prize. Though most of my time in the process was spent soloing, I at least had the pleasure of everyone's company to keep me from going completely and utterly insane. I've had high notes and low notes during my adventures. I soloed quests that were probably farther above my level range than usual...but I managed to pull them out of my rear, anyway. I remember soloing the 42 elite centaur quest at 40...you know, the one where you have to ring the gong or whatever and the centaur guys come up the hill and fight you in waves? Yeah...that one took some serious effort, but I did it. Feign Death became my best friend that day. Hehe. Or the dragon quest where you had to fight a 54 elite dragon...I soloed that one at 53. It wasn't as hard as the other one...my pet did die (poor Whitewolf), and I was left at 800 health, but it could have gone alot worse if I didn't know what I was doing. There were plenty of other elites that I soloed with no great trouble, showing that I at least knew half of what I was doing in regards to my class. Or kiting Drakk...now, that was by far my greatest achievement so far. Everyone was so proud. Haha! There were some low points, too...like the time that I lit all the candles at once in BRD and got us all killed. We spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how we were going to get out of that mess! I was so embarrased. Or when my pet was set on aggressive in BRD because I had just gotten done running someone through a much lower instance...oops! lol! Yeah....not every day was a good day to be Trigga. But now I am done with all the things I did to gain experience...at least until the expansion. As I sit here and type this, I think of all the good times and the bad, the fun and the frustration. Most of all though, I think of my friends...both the ones that I had coming in and the ones I have made along the way. Without them, I would not be able to say this. I did it! Finally....60!!! Thank you to everyone in FP...and I hope to show you all what I can do in the future. Sincerely, Jason (Triggahapy)

Pretty much just surf the airfare sites each day to see if prices go down. That's what I did after I missed a pretty sweet deal on fares to Tampa and back. -

Good lord I'm so out of that fight. I am not being held responsible for any of you...actually, I'm not to be held responsible for myself, either. -

Vanin, don't lie. Your dad owns a Quik-E-Mart. And Gynis...we know you cover the age limit, but one of us will have to look like our guardians. The under 21 crowd looks more "adultish" than we do. haha! We cover a yard stick put together. Put that in your bad jokes list and...ummm...yeah, I got nothin'. -

Good lord, people...we're all going to consume enough food between Zaxby's, D & Bs, WH, and Gynis's pad to supply the state of Tennesee for the winter. Hope everyone brings plenty of Pepto for all the upset tummies. -
Nah...not really. I'm too lazy to keep this thread going anyway. Maybe I'll get a new one put in here for my 200th message though.

HAHA hykos. good to know now. btw fist time i've been quoted i feel honored -
Thank you Este, but I have other reasons for no longer posting my poetry. That may change one day, but for now this is the last hurrah for me. I am glad that everyone has enjoyed my literature, and I hope the time comes when I feel I can share more of my works with everyone.
