update: AH HAH! upon further inspection and being laughed at by my room mate I have discovered that right above "improved corruption no longer has it's previous effect" there is a note reading "corruption-now instant cast" xD my bad?

So for those who are not aware, friendly reputation with the bloodsail bucks allows a player to get a "hat" that when used summons out a vanity pet parrot. This parrot is, short of tyreal's hilt, (goody bag code given out in the paris blizzard invitational) just about the rarest vanity pet in the entire game; and the only way to get to friendly with the bloodsail is to kill booty bay guards.... lots of booty bay guards. I've known of this pet for some time (miro also ranted over it) however I have never felt it worth the incredibly long grind and loss of reputation with the steemwheedle towns. However, my opinion has begun to change. For one there is a special achievement (as of next patch) set aside specifically for this one pet. There is also an achievement earned for having 10, 25, and 50 unique vanity pets (this parrot included). Furthermore, in the expansion (or perhaps even as early as next patch) all vanity pets can be exchanged between ALL characters on an account - even if they are soulbound. On top of all of that, there is reason to believe that as of WOTLK, this pet will no longer be available to anyone that has not already earned it. It is because of those reasons that I am feeling up to the task of sacrificing cartel rep and putting the time in to the long grind. Now that I've covered all the pros and cons to working toward one of these oh-so-rare birds, I'd like to ask if anyone around FP (or even someone outside of FP if they are reading this) would like to join me in grinding out BB guards. A quick google search reveals many tactics to quickly (and safely) farming them, and it would of course go twice as fast with twice as many people. (or three times as fast... or four... or five....) That's all I wanted to ask, sorry for the long post! =) Also if you're considering joining me in this venture, don't forget that weather it's one person or 10, we all still get the exact same amount of rep =) also: "new posts: 4747" xD

the salesman who sold me the car did that thing where they make you get in the passenger seat and force you to listen to them as they demonstrate the car for half an hour *after* agreeing to buy it. He didn't shift the car out of drive upon completion of his demonstration. I should also mention the car was facing the parking lot exit. The road attached to the aforementioned parking lot exit was 6 lanes... and very busy.

I was running a spybot S&D the other day and it came up empty, but at one time I just happened to look at the file it was checking, and it said "zlob downloader." As it scanned through various sub files in this zlob thing, I noticed names such as "zlob porn downloader" (or something like that) and other variations. Now this concerned me seeing as how since I received this computer I have not downloaded any kind of porn images or videos (yes yes flurry of jokes incoming, very funny) nor do I have any idea what a "zlob downloader" is. I did a search on my computer for "zlob" and ran an AVG virus scan immediately and found nothing. Does anyone know wth this thing my spybot was scanning is, why it's on my computer and why I can't find it?

After discussing this with my blockbuster coworkers, it has been decided that this will not work for the sheer fact that DC comic super heroes never ever die (for real). their entire existence depends on having super powers that could rip a man in two.... and never ever doing anything to kill anyone of any significance (just no name henchmen). Mortal Kombat on the other hand.... those guys are ALL about uninteresting fights topped off with the most amazing finishing moves the world has ever seen. You can't combine guys that never kill with guys who's only path to success was electrifying their opponents to a charred skeleton, or turning them into ice and breaking them into a thousand pieces. It just don't work.
