The ambience on the test server is awesome... spent 30mins in Q to take a look. And it doesnt mess too much with performance... at least i thought so. Btw... whatever server they're using for the test server... SC needs it badly!!! There was NO lag on the test server and its crowded with players.

/sigh We just paid for the 'high-bandwidth' service thats supposedly 20 times faster than the free service. Using the free service my lowest ping ever was 1.4k (on one of my alts in teldrassil at offpeak hours lol) and normally it was way over 2k and above. With the paid servers... i've managed to get it to about 1k-ish and 1.4k if i was raiding (pve and pvp raiding) so in other words... slightly better but nothing as major as they claim it to be. /cry And still unable to play seriously. Raven has had more luck.. ranging from 700-900 which is playable. Either way... hopefully it'll get better.. somehow.

met a few EQ players while checking up on my class schedule today and they told me about another program called http-tunnel that can be combined with sockscap. i just tried it out and it works... i was able to log onto wow! yay! however... the lowest ping i managed to get was 1.5k. according to the guys behind http-tunnel... you need to pay for unlimited bandwidth which would allow lower pings for wow. not the best news but making progress.

Anyone hv any experience with it? I hvnt used it yet cos i dont wanna cause any problems lol... . And i'm a newb to all this but how do i do a port scan?

Update: - Quotes hv been fixed thanks to Hykos! New quotes from now on should work properly, the quotes made before this post might require their posters to edit the post with the code and re-submit it. - phpraid should now allow probationay members to signup!

Alrite... time to address a few things: - Quotes... i'm looking into this... none of us hv touched the quote codes but the quotation appears to work on some forums but not on others. This is a bug by the devs behind plus. Hopefully there's a hotfix. - The banner alone is 1000 pixels... so members will hv to switch to a larger resolution or we'll need a smaller banner (taking all the tables and opther imgs, it'll exceed the 1024 pixel limit). - phpraid is a standalone package... so its not easy to integrate with the phpbb template... more of a trial and error thing. The groups werent setup so i couldnt fully confighure phpraid but now that they are, i'll get to it.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank: - Hykos You da man... great work! A true perfectionist who spent a lot of time on refining pretty much almost everything! I enjoyed this project with you... learned a lot... we had our fair share of freakouts! lol. - Sileed Thanks so much for your input, ideas, suggestions and time! Especially during the website transfer... i appreciate you taking the time checking everything possible to see if it was working and keeping me updated. - Gynis & Stang Thank you for trusting me with this project... it's still not finished...
