    Adios!

Wow, I'm suprised you can remember that much... How can he forget when there's a video of it??

    VISTAAA

Actually it's the opposite of that, and that's the bad thing. If you install the Upgrade you actually have to install it on top of XP. You can't do it from a fresh drive/partition. Not only does that make for a more messy install from what I read, but if you ever have to reinstall Windows for any reason, you'll have to install your old XP first, then Vista after that.

    Guitar WiiHero

http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/peripherals/gui...-wii-235093.php http://crunchgear.com/2007/02/08/guitar-he...-coming-to-wii/ Those of you who enjoy feigning a seizure and playing faux guitar should be excited to know that your most favoritest game EVER, Activision’s Guitar Hero, is coming to the Nintendo Wii. The dudes over at The Tanooki confirmed with Activision CEO Mike Griffith that Guitar Hero would be making its way to Nintendo’s gimmicky console. Said the man himself: The key difference in our strategy versus the prior cycle, is that in addition to full support on Sony and Microsoft platforms, we will aggressively target the Nintendo platforms consistent with our multi-platform strategy and Nintendo’s expected growth. In fiscal 2008, we will double our offerings on the DS and the Wii, including Spider-Man, Shrek, Transformers, and Guitar Hero. Wait a sec, does that quote mean that a Nintendo DS version of Guitar Hero will be coming out as well? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Oh, and though I’m not the biggest Wii fan around, I do think that if Guitar Hero should be on a console, it should be the Wii. Extra points for doing actual couch dives? Rock.

    Housecraft

from Kotaku.com This want ad for a roommate was posted on the San Francisco Craigslist last week. Very creative, and a good way to weed out the losers that dont play wow. "Take two wacky Asian boys, one crazy white girl, the world's biggest MMO and a SOMA apartment for rent and what have you got? Why, World of Housecraft of course! This ad looking for a roommate surfaced on Craig's List a few days ago and has been subsequently taken down, but thanks to Digg and mirror sites, the image was saved for posterity. Not only is it possibly the nerdiest apartment ad ever, but also the most creative. Someone obviously spent a lot of time creating this image to entice a fellow Warcrafter into their home for fun and geeky times gathered around the glowing warmness of the computer screen's warming glow. Why the ad was pulled is unknown. Perhaps it was a copyright issue or maybe they just found the perfect person to fill their little house with the geek love it so sorely needs and deserves." http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/5960/worldofhousecraftxd1.jpg
  6. now you're just going way over my head Tech boy... but uhh, as for overnight charging, that's all ready possible. Full charges are like 4 hours, most daily charges probably within an hour. And that’s all fine and dandy for a lot commuters I think, but obviously not for everyone. I don't think the ability to pull in somewhere and "fill up" in a few minutes will ever be possible with battery powered vehicles. Electric cars won't have the mobility and versatility of IC until there's someway of easily and conveniently producing power on board, ala Mr. Fusion.
  7. The weight of batteries and a small and light electric motor compared to the weight of a massive 12 cylinder engine, 7 speed transmission, and probably 30 gallons of gasoline. hmmm... I wonder how much of a difference there actually is... Problem with mass produced elec. cars is the amount of space needed for batteries, not neccesarily the weight. The smaller engine/transmission and lack of a fuel kinda makes up for that, but, maybe not all of it, well probably not, but damn close, I bet.
  8. ROFLMAO you say that in comparison to a car that only gets 2 miles per gallon at full speed. The buggati runs out of gas in about 10 minutes at full trottle dude. =D
  9. that made my day, Beorn. XD LOL, I was gonna correct you and say that Electric supercars already pwn Internal Combustion, but it seems you already know about the Tesla. =D I
  10. Moroes is the third or so boss I think, but I guess it depends on which way you go. I dunno. When I got keyed Saturday I managed to make it through a lot of the instance stealthed. You can get to a few bosses pretty easy. Midnight, Maiden of Virtue, and Moroes, but when you go through the ballroom theirs a lot of Valet's that see through stealth, and they hurt... a lot. x_x I think we have a good 12 or so people attuned now. We should be able to start this week no problem. *crosses fingers for tonight*
  11. bump, report Bent's thread and my new profession thread. Also be sure to post what uber new rare skillz ya got. Just the really rare ones though. =D http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.h...=73339784&sid=1

  13. Just go find one. There's some around Atlanta too, and other large cities. If I see one around I'll try and find a way to grab it
  14. you sure about that Miro? Keyrings size dynamically, so all your spaces for keys arent visible all the time. If you don't have any keys on you it's only going to show a few spaces. I have a ton of keys, but only see 2 extra spots, but there's actually more than that.

  17. I'd like to finish "The Cipher of Damnation - Borak's Charge" and then do "The Cipher of Damnation" this weekend if anyone is interested in catching up to that point I will help. The quest rewards for both are great.
  18. Taken from worldofraids.com. Some quest info was missing so I filled in what I know and elaborated on quests some and added links to NPC's and Quests, and explained some things a little better. A note on Raid progression: Although our first 25man raids (Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair) do not require any key or attunement, latter 25 mans will. So don't wait 6 months to take care of what you can start now. Some of the quest lines are long, but fun and interesting, and full of XP/gold. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5 man instance keys: Shattered Halls Key - Questline starts after killing a Blacksmith orc called "Smith Gorlunk" outside The Black Temple at (67,36) -- Loot the Primed Key Mold from him and accept the quest it gives --- Entry into the Citadel (Completes at Force Commander Danath Trollbane (56,66) in Honor Hold) ---- Grand Master Dumphry (Completes at Dumphry (51,60) in Honor Hold) ----- Dumphry's Request (4 Fel Iron Bar, 2 Arcane Dust, 4 Mote of Fire) ------ Hotter then Hell (kill a Fel Reaver in Hellfire peninsula) Questreward for the quest "Hotter then Hell" is the Shattered Halls Key Shadow Labyrinth Key Drops from Talon King Ikiss, last boss in Sethekk Halls in the Auchindoun Key to the Arcatraz Questline starts with Nether-Stalker Khay'ji (32,64) in Area 52 - Warp-Raider Nesaad -- Request for Assistance (ends at Gahruj (64,57) at Eco-Dome Midreal) --- Rightful Repossession ---- An Audience with the Prince (ends at Image of Nexus-Prince Haramad (45,36) in Stormspire) ----- Triangulation Point One (Point is at 66,38. There are 5 keys total, each requiring you to be Revered with a certain faction so that you can purchase the key. To complete some 25 man attunement quests you MUST be able to do some of these on Heroic mode. So no Heroic Keys, no 25 man raids later in the year. Don't neglect your rep. =D Auchenai Key Requires Lower City - Revered "Unlocks access to Heroic mode for Auchindoun dungeons." Sells in: Shattrath City, Lower City Flamewrought Key Requires Honor Hold - Revered "Unlocks Heroic Difficulty for Hellfire Citadel dungeons." Do you gank?!?

I haven't, but solely for the reason that they haven't to me. The horde that have kept the same pace as me don't seem to bother anyone. They know you just want to quest too and they leave it at that. Hell, a number of them have helped me and I've helped a lot of horde killing things. I've heard that isn't the case in Hellfire/Zangar now, though. That sucks. I challanged a Rage warrior that was my level on Saturday. He stopped and fought me. Was fun, I kicked his ass of course, but it was nice to finally kill a horde in BC. I can only think 1 that actually ganked. I found him AFK'd behind a building an hour later and got him back.
