Did you know that prison guards in Cali with experience make $70k+ per year? They're also understaffed so overtime is mandatory, so they can often exceed $100k+. I do agree with the dissolution of the death penalty however. IMO fix the laws on the books, I am very much in favor of legalization both as a way to free up valuable space and time in the penal system, but also as a source of revenue through taxation. But I've got the same view on prostitution for whatever that's worth. It's also worth noting that the "drug war" has it's roots in something our nation is still dealing with: immigration. Cannibus was brought to this country in large part my Mexican immigrants. It was fear over them stealing the jobs of the natural born American citizen that led activist groups to put pressure on the government to take action. Bringing us to where we are today. ( I did skip a good part of the 70's and 80's but that was more to save time then anything.) Let's all try to use some facts and figures, and some solid reasoning instead of impassioned arguments and all caps. It does little to impress anyone, even when it's likely that I might share some of your views.

I think this is nostalgia in it's truest form, or you just didn't spend the amount of time in AV back in the day that I did. Long epic struggles sound good in theory but after playing a few AV games for 12+hours I can definitely say that I enjoy the current base race much more then the old setup. AV has changed a good bit since it's release, like there's no more elite guarding Snow Fall Grave Yard, and the GY guards are just normal NPCs, not the pseudo-gods they used to be all on-top of the dismounting change to FW keep. As I recall they reduced the power of the NPCs to try and speedup the games that were happening. Those changes, combined with the cross-realm BG system are what have brought us to where we are today. Is base-racing kind of lame? Yes, but do I want to go back to sitting in AV arguing with people about whether or not we should let the horde win so we could get honor (which still drives me crazy, YOU'VE ALREADY GOT THE HONOR, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT LEAVE!) or trying to beat basic strategy into 39 other people? I'll pass thank you.

Interesting, not sure if it's something that I'd be interested in; it's at least another tool in the kit though.

Wow, after reading this I'm going to have to do something super brutal; like go out back and take the shotgun to some kittens, or throw some puppies into traffic, so I may feel like a man again.
