Mages and warlocks go nuts when they get this debuff, and my post was more laughing at the warriors who try to hold aggro against such an unstoppable force. I think the current crit record belongs to a warlock pre-1.9 (when they nerfed Curse of Shadow) on a wyrmguard overlord or whatever those big dragonid things in BWL are called. 16k ish or so. Might have been around 18k. I heard Flamingcloud has to use lower rank spells to avoid pulling aggro.

I use mine to take off the ugly goblin that people put on me with those silver arrows.

One of our mages popped AP + ToEP + ZHC and got BA first. He did 16k dmg in roughly 4-5 seconds. Our tank didn't stand a chance, lol...

Pop a fire protection pot when your priest dies and you'll live another 30 seconds perhaps. In truth our rogues go mostly FR gear for this fight. Priests die, and when your's eventually does, it means you're soon to follow. At that point it's your FR gear that means you live longer and do more DPS than a few added points of damage from gear that has better stats. If your tanks are doing their job correctly, then it's best to vanish at the 2nd transition. You get more bang for your buck. If you've stolen aggro after the first transition, your tanks are failing and they need the work, not the rogues. Of course, you should ALWAYS be hitting feint. I've also seen a rogue tank for a little bit using evasion and FR gear to resist the breaths. This is usually at the 1-2% ish mark where the aggro table starts leaning in favor of the rogues. If you notice the BWL fights all prepare you for later bosses. Razor teaches you how to handle swarms of mobs like stage one nefarian. Vael teaches you perhaps one of the most valuable lessons in BWL: juggling tanks. You'll need this skill for the drakes big time. Broodlord of course teaches you how to tank Nef stage 2, the wyrmguards teach teh casters how to handle chromaggus, etc etc. The vael fight is pretty much where your tanks go through a huge learning curve about how to know where they are on the aggro table and be able to manipulate aggro on a very reliable level. Once they get that, it's a stone's throw from firemaw and ebonroc.

I think it would be interesting to let it pan out. Consider they had two options: 1. the potential problems that might arise from gay bashing 2. the certain problems that would arise from them nipping this in the bud While if #1 came true it'd be a bigger liability than #2, the 2nd is certain while the 1st is not. But hey, I'm a mathematician, I treat people as spheres.

Try on the mage helmets using the dressing room.

Hunters have feign death, rogues have feint, priests have fade, mages have armor bonuses/arcane subtlety, warlocks have MD imp spec and armor bonuses. That covers all but 1 class who does DPS during an Ony fight. Warriors just aren't made to NOT pull aggro. As a result, you just have to take it far more carefully than other DPS classes.

I had a professor who summed up college quite eloquently: "It's not the education so much as showing that you can be trained for something new." Employers understand that there may be capable and qualified people in the world without college degrees applying for jobs in their business, but it's the college degree that says "look at me, I can learn new things."

Is there a better system? Remember we're dealing with software, not living and conscious beings making the decision who can loot, so the rules of the game have to be simple and clear cut. You can probably find a sinew on the AH for <600g anyway, so however unfortunate it's not the end of the world.

It's a tough call. Consider that people who are convicted of sex crimes are generally harassed by neighborhoods aware of them, and does it seem that far fetched that a specifically gay-friendly guild would suffer some sort of harassment? Personally I'd have just let it pan out.

I hate that you still suffer diminishing honor in BGs. Perhaps it removes a possible honor system exploit, but it's kind of sucky to know that killing people in BGs is worth next to no honor.
