  1. Also, with all the retarded QQing surrounding Ret I'm sure it will be nerfed into the ground.
  2. Hey all, Right now I'm playing my pally. But I have also been playing my shammy. I haven't been around very long, so I'm not sure where the guild stands on needed classes looking forward to wrath. I know you guys can't tell me what to play and I should play what I enjoy more, but I really like being needed and raiding. So knowing what we know about the guild now and what we know about wrath: Which class/spec would be most needed/in demand/welcome in future raids? Holy Pally Ret Pally Resto Shammy Enh Shammy Ele Shammy DPS Warrior They all seem interesting/cool, with ret being my personal favorite. However, traditionally raiding ret pallys only get that spot after healing/tanking their way into a guilds heart I'd be happy to focus on any of the above classes/specs for the guild.

  5. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3170438 BioWare, LucasArts Unveiling MMO on October 21 Press invitation lends further credence to the all-but-confirmed Star Wars MMO rumor. By Kris Pigna, 10/08/2008 Invite image Over the weekend, rumors emerged that BioWare and LucasArts were set to unveil their MMO set in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic universe within the next 30 days, and now confirmation has come straight from the developers...almost. As Massively reports, BioWare has sent out invitations (front pictured above, back pictured below) to various press outlets inviting them to the unveiling, on October 21, of "the game that's been rumored about for years." While at no point on the invite do the words "Star Wars" seem to appear (although portions of the invite have been blurred out), we're still pretty confident this will finally be the first public showing of one of the worst-kept secrets in the industry. In fact, Massively have even confidently stated they expect the game's title to be Star Wars: The Old Republic. This official invitation follows a report from the U.K. paper The Daily Star, where a columnist announced they'd be visiting LucasArts' San Francisco offices for an exclusive look at what they reported as an "MMO of Knights of the Old Republic." And if that's not enough of a near-confirmation for you, recall that Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello himself once slipped a confirmation that BioWare was working on a Star Wars MMO (EA, of course, being BioWare's parent company). So unless this has all been a really, really elaborate head-fake, it's safe to assume we'll be looking at BioWare's take on a Star Wars MMO in two weeks.

    Career chage

I'm currently in Teachers College. Maybe being a teacher. At the very least you could go over seas and teach English.
  8. A-well-a everybody's heard about the bird
  9. lol, http://blog.wired.com/business/2008/10/googles-mail-go.html Google released a useful new Gmail feature yesterday in its labs, which could help prevent the intoxicated from sending embarrassing late-night emails they might regret in the morning. When activated, the program will force a user to solve a series of math problems before allowing any message to be sent. They are not terribly difficult, but do serve as an extra line of defense in what can be a very dangerous habit. The service is set by default to kick in only on weekend nights, but you can change the settings to apply whenever. As for drunk dialing and texting, you’re still on your own.

  12. http://news.scotsman.com/latestnews/Mr-Gay...-man.4564037.jp Mr Gay winner 'killed man and cooked pieces of flesh' Published Date: 07 October 2008 By Amy Murphy THE first winner of the Mr Gay UK contest stabbed a man to death before carving a piece of flesh from his thigh, seasoning it with fresh herbs and cooking it in olive oil, a court heard yesterday. Anthony Morley, 36, from Leeds, then chewed a piece of Damian Oldfield's flesh, before walking to a takeaway and telling staff that he had killed someone, Leeds Crown Court was told. Morley, who worked as a chef, also cut a piece of Mr Oldfield's chest and nipple and left a bank card over the wound, the jury heard. The defendant denies murdering Mr Oldfield, 33, and told police when he was arrested that someone had tried to rape him. Opening the case for the prosecution, Andrew Stubbs, QC, told the jury of eight women and four men the two men had been involved in some kind of relationship in the past and that Morley was troubled by his sexuality. Mr Stubbs said the men arranged to meet in Leeds on 23 April this year and later went back to Morley's house, where the defendant prepared a meal for them both before the pair went upstairs to his bedroom. The prosecution claim that sexual activity took place in the bedroom before Morley launched his attack on Mr Oldfield, cutting his throat and stabbing him numerous times. Mr Stubbs said: "He continued to stab and stab and stab him until he died. Even when he was dead the attack continued until finally Mr Morley cut parts of flesh from the body." The barrister said six pieces of cooked human flesh, identified as being from Mr Oldfield's body, were found on a chopping board, while a further piece of flesh, which appeared to have been chewed, was found in a bin bag. "From a chopping board on one of the kitchen units, six pieces of cooked flesh, which had been seasoned with fresh herbs and fried in olive oil were recovered. The flesh was human," Mr Stubbs said. "A further piece of cooked flesh, which appears to have been chewed, was recovered from a bin bag in the kitchen." Mr Stubbs continued: "Having killed him upstairs, the defendant carved away a piece of flesh and took it downstairs to his kitchen, where he seasoned it, fried it and tried to eat it." Mr Stubbs said the piece of skin, fat and muscle cut from Mr Oldfield's thigh measured 21cm by 11cm, while a 27cm by 14cm area of skin and flesh was cut from the victim's chest. The court heard there were no signs of a struggle and it was possible Mr Oldfield was attacked from behind on the bed before falling on to the floor, where his naked body was found by police. After the attack, Mr Stubbs said, Morley, who won the first Mr Gay UK competition in 1993, walked a short distance to a takeaway wearing just a white dressing gown and flip flops. "He walked in and said, 'I've killed someone, call the police'," Mr Stubbs said. The barrister said when the defendant was asked why he had done it, he claimed someone had tried to rape him. Robert Smith, QC, defending, said Morley was at least guilty of manslaughter but the issue in the trial would be over provocation or abnormality of the mind. The case continues.
  13. I'm too poor to care....but, here in Canada we have a tax thats kinda like the "fairtax" your describing. Essentially provinces and the federal government tax like 15%(about that, not exactly) of all you purchases. Its on everything, except things like "wholesome" food(junk/fast food is still taxed). But on top of that we still have a pretty hefty income tax. It pays for our health care and shit so I guess its ok, but its not a cure all. Wouldn't it just make more sense to actually tax the rich, and eliminate the tax loopholes they have? I mean if you make over a million dollars a year wouldn't a 50% income tax be ok? I'm pretty sure if countries like Canada and the US did something like that we would all be much better off.
  14. Also, if the republicans do win, at least we'll have four years of Tina Fey.
  15. Tina Fey... nothing hotter than a hot, funny woman.
  16. Wow, it even has a laser sight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu-XVZ0XLVs
  17. I totally agree Erlin. I'm more of a pve person myself and I believe that if you want actual pvp for play a FPS or *gasp* a sport. However, I was bored this spring and had just finished leveling my warrior. So I decided to do the honor grind. It took me about 6 weeks of hours and hours of BGing to collect like 150k honor and marks. After that I experience I have just a slight bit more respect for people in full pvp gear, not much, but a little
