The gnome

okey! so, for wednesday night show I was asked to write some poems with multiculturalism and anti-racism topics. I couldn't leave out my background as a gamer. SO!

 

The gnome

 

The other day

Like any other day

To play video games I sat

 

I threw away my name

Made up a new one

And a gnome I made

 

Jumping on the screen

Side to side

Up and down

My little gnome

 

And there I was

With my little gnome

Playing in a very unreal world

And the only thing that mattered

The only thing that made

My little gnome so different

From a troll, orc or else

Was how my little mage

Looked on my pixilated desk
