I dont understand half of the pally patch notes lol... but yea... doesnt look like that much.. i hvnt seen the talent trees tho.

1. 15min blessings at double mana and a 2s reagent. Not bad. 'cept now we need a new blessing mod for pallies! I guess BuffAhoy! can do it well enough, just assigning them will be a pain. >.<

 

2. Horse costs less mana to summon. Woo.

 

3. Seal of Fury/Judgment of Fury changed. Pallies can tank better now! Whoppteedee!

 

4. Seals/Judgment system shifted around:

- SoC (our main dmg seal) nerfed, though it's damamge is made usefull.

- Seal of Righteousness (crappy seal for 1-Handers) buffed.

- Seals cost more mana, but the judment costs less. (Huh?)

 

5. Blessing of Sanctuary buffed- OMG! 40 DMG mitigation AND a tiny bit DMG dealt when hit! fubar...'cept now it's only real worth will be for 1-manning deadmines.

 

6. Our undead abilities can now be used on demons! Joy.

 

7. Our shields have a simmilar effect to priest ones, only with a 1min durration. OMG! NERFED!

They're trying to actually encourage players to use Judgements. Most paladins will only actually Judge something if it's a boss or something that's not going to die in 10 seconds. This way they're reducing the cooldown and adding better effects for the judgements. I for one am excited about the new changes, I just can't wait to see the talent trees. You have to think positive man, who knows how they'll actually play out until we actually play?

i think it all depends on how much the damage increase is for the holy stuff. I have a feeling that the test server will be all pallys.

The following weapons and shields have been updated with new art : Perdition's Blade, Obsidian Edged Blade, Gutgore Ripper, Core Hound Tooth, Aurastone Hammer, Drillborer Disk, Staff of Dominance.

The proc ability of the Halberd of Smiting can no longer cause another proc.

Well Fed buffs from special foods will no longer stack with each other.

 

I'm sure Miroku will shed a tear or two over that...

 

Engineers with skill 250 or greater, who have completed Umi Rumplesnicker's 'Are We There Yeti?' quest line, should seek her out again in Everlook.

 

This has been a long time coming...annoying that its only engineers which makes sense but simply not fair =D

 

Players should no longer be able to walk on steep terrain.

 

pfft no way there was nothing wrong about that. I can walk across a steep mountain IRL

d00d! Siege, think about the five protection pallys! Blessing of sanctuary is the blessing I always use..and I get damage from it, and shield spikes and Holy Shield....my whole strategy of blocking the enemy to death will be realized! Bwahahaha!

Also of note is the ability to scale back spell detail (Vaelastrasz the Corrupt now won't make my computer come to a grinding halt).

 

We actually have a tank pally in Vehement if you can believe it (to this day I don't undersand how he pulls aggro from Tek sometimes...and I myself can't pull aggro from Tek), so wee.

 

Holy shock is now an instant cast nuke OR heal (this may actually make some pallies want to get it for insta-heal abilities on a somewhat short cooldown).

 

As far as the greater blessings...this makes your life so easy you don't need any mods. You have each pally assigned to a single blessing and they group cast it. It applies to a raid, not just a 5-man group if I read it correctly. SO much simpler.

 

I *love* the new sanctuary. Tanks will want it, we use it extensively for panther boss as well.

 

I don't understand why divine shield is given a 1 minute debuff considering it's a 5 minute cooldown and there's no way to change that...The ones you can cast on other people I might understand.

 

It might be a bit irritating to have to whack a monster as a pally to keep the judgement from wearing off, especially in raids and mobs where you want pure ranged dps except for the mt.

 

Don't forget the new alchemy recipe. Watch them give it a 2 day cooldown ftl...lol

 

Mages, I didn't see it in the notes but it was announced in the mage class forums: we are getting 10 waters/cast instead of 4. Now it only coss 1560 mana instead of 3900 to make a stack...as well as taking 9 seconds fewer. I'm so grateful.

 

Also the specific arcanist changes in regards to set bonuses: 3 is +spell dmg, 5 is spell penetration. A worthy change from our additional 54 dmg per fire ward blocked and 15 extra seconds of sheep :roll:

All I can say is steep terrain pathing is the worst thing in the game and now I can't get to the IF airport.... or other places ...

YAY! I can't tell you how many times i've been screwed because I missed a button and had to retarget, sometimes with the WRONG target!

man i knew that paladins were getting love, but this is AWESOME!

 

15 mins multi-target blessings? thank the lord.. cant wait to test this out on the test server.. anyone know when its gonna be open?

I like how they tried to sneek in the this Warrior nerf...

 

Enrage - The talent will now grant 5/10/15/20/25% extra damage when enraged, instead of 8/16/24/33/40%

 

Can I please get a patch were something about the warriors doesnt get nerffed for the love of shit?!

 

Time to spend talent poitns somewhere else.

just go pick up as much +atk power and str gear as you can, pick up the fury tree, and you'll wtfpwn everything regardless. I'd love to see a warrior with 1500+ atk power.
