Lyrin 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2006 Pollock Mistakes (please don't say anything about the name - I didn't make it up) 1 lb. ultra lean hamburger1 lb. sausage (mild, medium or hot - your choice)1 lb. Velveeta1/2 - 1 tsp. garlic powder2 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce1 pkg. Party Rye Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown the meat however you brown meat and drain the fat. (Personally, I boil both the hamburger and sausage together and drain the water and fat off, then brown it.) Sprinkle the garlic powder over the meat. Pour in Worchestershire sauce. Add Velveeta and cook on a medium-low heat mixing ingredients until all the cheese has melted. Remove mixture from heat. Spoon mixture onto the rye rounds, about 1 tbsp. each. Line up on a cookie sheet and place in oven for about 20 mins or until bubbling and just starting to brown. Cool 5 - 10 mins and serve warm. Great for appetizers, but they look kind of like poop on rye. Once you taste them, you won't care what they look like. Enjoy!! Amitesh 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2006 Ok cool! Well this is something I prepare for Spirits and myself pretty often. Its simple and involves little cooking. <<Carribean Chicken Wraps>> Ingredients needed: 1 1/2 LBs of chicken breast (give or take depends on how much chicken you prefer)1 Head of Red Romaine lettuce1 Can of pineapple cubes1 Red onion1 Bottle of honey mustard salad dressing1 Package of about 6-8 large tomato and basil wraps Preparation: 1. Grill or pan fry chicken breasts and cut into small cubes. Add chicken cubes and honey mustard dressing into a small container with a lid. Close and shake until chicken cubes are well coated with dressing. Set aside. 2. Lay a wrap out on a plate or clean surface. 3. Tear romaine lettuce into medium size pieces and place onto wrap forming a bottom layer. 4. Add coated chicken cubes next on top of the lettuce. 5. Add several pieces of pineapple cubes on top of the chicken. 6. Add small red onion pieces on top. 7. Wrap! fold in such a manner...http://www.geocities.com/mvirgs/WrapFold.jpg Don't let the ingredients intimidate you! Sounds like a strange combination but I'm sure you'll love it! Enjoy why didn't u make this for me when we lived together?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!xinia, spirits where have you been
