Looks pretty cool, but from the preview, doesn't look as good as the first one. Though Heath Ledger looks the part alot more then I thought he would.

The looks is great. My problem is that he just doesn't sound crazy enough. Still I can't wait for this one.

His laugh is awesome. My only problem is that the Joker looks stupid =( We've gone though alot of jokers in the batman time, and batman is the ONLY DC comic imo worth keeping track of and Marvel is way superior, but never has a joker looked so lame imo. I realize they wanted him to look crazy or whatever but he looks like he just got in a fight with face paint, lost, and tried to wipe it off with water, but in the middle of it got kicked in the face by batman, and is now stuck looking friggin retarded.

 

You remember when the joker was a big black dude with dreads and a hammer? That was sweet.

 

But really they should have gone with a more natural joker look =(

I agree, personally, I prefer the cleaner looking face of joker, not the one where it looks like the paints falling off his face. But it could still work, the first Batman was great ( of the new ones) and it's the same people, so Ill give it some credit to start with.

Judging by the bank heist scene, people think it's makeup used as some sort of war paint. His origins in Dark Knight are suppose to be true to the original appearence in the comics in the 50's, which means a bath in a chemical vat permanently turned his skin/hair/lips different colors. IMO the new Joker looks more like how a chemical change would look. Brutal and effed up. Jack Nicholson just looked like a clown in make up.

Even still the joker has always looked clean desipite the many years of change and the story behind the joker has pretty much always been similar. His face to me really doesn't look scared or anything like that it just looks like stupid face paint that got water all over it. If they wanted it to look more F-ed up they could have done that but they didn't imo and that's why I don't like it.

 

The joker has always pretty much been a clean cut joker with a few acceptions, but I can't remember a time when he looked so....So tacky. That's my complaint. Jack Nicholson looked like a clown in make up, because back then the only joker we ever saw normally looked like a clown in make up and they stuck to the comics pretty well.
