Rather than ban the happy meal, why not require them to have a healthy happy mean option? That way the parents can decide if they want their kid to have a burger or a salad. The kid would still get the toy either way and McDonald's would still get its money.

That's true, but when allocating stats to an item, static values would be a hell of a lot better. Compare this to any of the other current tanking weapons and I'm sure you'll agree this weapon is less appealing.

Hahah! Oh, Erik... I just died laughing... I can see WHY they made these stats the way they did... the original Quel was released when Dire Maul was first added to the game. At that time, there really wasn't very good tanking itemization and this was a great weapon! It was also befroe damage meters and defense caps and all the min/maxing that we do now. Hell, it was THE tanking weapon in MC, when all there was was MC. Fastforward 5 years... like you said, every tank is defense capped, so 100 more def points is a waste. The armor is ok, but thats about it. I wish they had kept the name and the look, but built the weapon in a way that would appeal to current tanks.
