I'll agree that if you want to consider screaming and growling a talent, dude in the song had it. I just don't believe that makes him the most talented musician ever. I also don't believe that being a country star / rapper requires no talent. If it did, there would be more of them. Also, I hate to break it to you.. most rappers write their own material. In fact, writing lyrics is a large part of being a rapper. I'm sure some country stars do as well, but I don't listen to tons of country so who knows. As far as "Show me ANY country or rap song that requires that amount of skill on ANY instrument to play and you'll have a point", last time I checked most country stars play instruments. Do they play music you'd enjoy? No, but they are still singing while playing an instrument. Sadly, rappers use beats made in studios, so I guess that makes them lose all credibility as musicians? >.> Sorry to even make a post and make you type out more crap, but I had to. Saying other musicians have no talent because you don't like / agree with their musical styles IS narrowminded. As an opinion, hey believe in what you want. Not to go back into the 'what is music' debate, but I don't see how you can call that talent. Like someone else said, the music is fine but when dude starts screaming I was ready to turn off. I could link you rap and country songs that show loads more talent than that, but you'd more than likely disagree so there is no point. I just think making a broad statement like "rap and country require no talent'" is narrowminded and if you're a musician I'd have thought you'd know better than to make such generalizations.

Couldnt agree with that more. With me living in NJ, it's a lock that my state will be voting for the Democratic nominee. Until they change our voting system, there is no point to me voting other than to say " I contributed to our electorial process ", which is bs. As for my canidate, I'm still not sold on anyone. I do like Ron Paul and agree with alot of what he has to say, but at the same time alot of his radical ideas I don't think would fly all too well with the masses and would probably divide our nation even further. Regardless what happens though, I'm happy to see the Bush's be gone.
