Mine's Doomsday7000 I think I got it in 6th grade, and I'm too damn lazy to change it with something interesting and/or intelligent.

So I went take my Chem Final yesterday, and after decided to see what they're selling in the Gamestop across from the school. Turns out, Battlefield 2 came out and I decided to purchance the game, needing to ween myself from Halo 2 onto another FPS game. I had a nice chat with the salesdude (who was a welcome chaange from the SOB that's usually there) which ended in him pressuring me to preorder something. Since the Xbox 360's first shipment has been sould out since about the time they released info on it, I declined. When I got home, I fired up the game, and all I can say is.... wow... it's just amazing. I'd advise anyone with any semblance of skill in FPS games to get it, NOW. I play a medic, so if we're in the same squad, you won't be dieng too much. If you do die, however, my magical shock paddles will bring you back to life. I have had some issues with the thing locking up, and it turns out it's my audio card. I'll probably need to get a new one, and will be able to play continuously for ages. Yah, I've seen these notes in many, many posts in both the official, and unofficial WoW forums. I'm glad they finally started making changes to the paladin, though they may be only bug fixes in this patch. Before anyone coments on it though, "Summon Charger - New icon." is important to me, I want to feel that for once, another class spell or a random item doesn't use the same icon as I do.

Tioaken - 60 Rogue I was in UBRS last week, and an epic mail helm dropped. We only hasd one hunter, so obviously he was going to get it with RTU. A bunch of people, including Tioaken and his guildmate, a 60 mage, wanted to RTS it. It was a big fuss, but the hunter got it in the end. Tioaken and his bud threatened to leave, and Tio pissed of the healer in his group. The healer said something along the lines of "If you don't stop bieng an ass and apoligize, I won't heal you" He DID heal him, however, but always to just below 75%. When he was on the verge of death, I tossed him a few FoLs and a HL. Mind you, this happend just after rend. When we got to the room with the two staircases and entrace to Blackwing, we wiped, and I rezed with a soulstone. We had everybody resurected, and healing/drinking/eating when what happends? Tioaken stealths, and aggros the rest of the room (the one before the beast) back to us, vanishes and hearths. I manage to save the raid by throwing Divine Intervention on the other pally in the raid. The mage dude says that Tio was pissed at not bieng healed. Which he was, though poorly. Mind you, his guild leader was immediatley notified, and after people cooled down, his mage buddy agreed that Tio shouldn't have done what he did. Anyway, don't neceserily blacklist this dude, but be aware that he IS a loose cannon.

Another strategy (or as the horde call it, exploit) is to cast BoP on the enemy flag carrier, which causes them to immediatly drop the flag, and be unable to pick it up for the duration. Couple it with an MC and you can have them turn around and bring the thing back to you. Oh and nerf ghostwolf. PS I'm working on taking screenies for the next update to the faq.

I use Ulead Video Studio for all my editing/burning needs. It may be a bit complex, depending on your amount of PC use knowledge. Whenever I download stuff, I use it to cut out the disclaimers, etc. as well as to shorten the time if I'm putting it on my PSP.

Shameless bump Now that BG came out I feel this info is vital for those who have not played extensivley on Test. I'll also add general strategies, tactics and situational strategies that I picked up, in a few days.

Hehe, I coldn't stop laughing for a good few days when that happend to my PS char. The funniest thing was the animation, when he'd take the thing out, put it to his shoulder and shoot. Hi-larious. Best thing was that that crap rifle that nobody used became a good "shock" weapon. I actually had my opponents stop and stare when I pulled it out and took my sweet time killing them. (As I re-read this, I just got all the inuendos contained therein. I'll keep it.)

I'd also like to note an addon that I've been spamming about since I found it. BuffAhoy! - This addon is absolutley vital for paladins, it allows you to map a button for a sequence of buffs, which you can manually change in the addon menu. You can either que party members with specific buffs, OR in a raid setting, you can set buffs for each class in the raid. This reduces the "point and click" system of buffing, to something as easy as spamming cleanse! It also provides hotkeys to cast various healing/cleansing spells, and spell sequences, with customisable verbosity. Get it HERE.

Edited with what I've seen today. Oh and Kopi, frost mages perform damn well. The slowing/freezing effects allow you to get in that extra shot for the kill, changing it from an escape while almost dead to an honor kill.

So after getting two more pieces of Lightforge today, I figured it was time to check the WoW forums. What is the first thing I see? The story of a great act of knavery made against a player. Luckily, Blizzard is taking some active steps to make sure things like that never happen to anyone. (Scroll down on pg 1 to the Blue respone) This ranks right up there with Leeeerrrroyyyy Jennnkins! From what I understand, it will be backwards-compatible. And yes, Nintendo is and always will be the best videogame company in the world. I have had too many memorable moments with their fine hard and software to think otherwise.

Now, I can agree that the PS2 has more quality games than the Xbox. It also has quite a large number of games that are pure pieces of crap. I have both consoles, and when I get bored what do I play? I don't play God of War, San Andreas, FFX, or Twisted Metal:Black. Why? I've beaten them all more than once, and I'm sick and tired of them. I sit down to my tele, hook up the ethernet cable and play Halo 2, Crimson Skies, Unreal, Wolfenstien, Sega GT, hell even DDR:Ultramix. I play these on live, and I know that every time I do so I am facing a new opponent, who has different tactics and gameplay style. This makes it entertaining and keeps me coming back to the box. What does sony provide as a subsitute? A piece of shit that's what. Oh and I doubt Microsoft gives a flying fuck about how many consoles they sell in Japan. You won't belive the amount of brand loyalty they have in that fair land. You must remember that Sony has acomplished in Japan what Microsoft is only attempting to do here. That goal is to completley take over your living room. They provide quality hardware: TVs, cameras, PCs; anything you could think of, they make. Odds are, if you have the cash, all of your products will be made by Sony. Microsoft can't even come close. Yet, in this country, both companies are waging a war to attain the same goal of brand loyalty. I have a Sony Trinitron TV, a Sony CD/DVD+-RW drive, the PS2 and I recently recieved the PSP for my birthday. Yet, if offered a simmilar, cheaper, product or one that was better, the fact that it's a Sony would not alter my decision in any way. Oh and why did I say SONY got owned? Because they're only "considering" a 2005 launch, and as the dreamcast had showed us, timing in console release is everything. Not to mention that the psychological effect of the info release MS has made. Microsoft basically pulled up in a Ferarri said "Look at my cool new car! Bitchin' ain't it?" and the best sony could muster as a rebuttal was "Well, my car will be better! But I'm not sure what it will be... Nor when I'll get it....."
