    I am uber thankful for the people in my life, for a career that I am passionate about, for the geeks that make escaping into a video game possible, for all the sexy smiles out there, and I have to say I am thankful for...(don't hate me Stric) FP...I love you guys!

    Awww...well when I first met Forevergal, her legs were a little....umm...hairy (gasp.) But I soon fell in love and ...girl or guy...will always be there for her. Now, Erlin, on the other hand is a little short for my taste...but who am I kidding, I always need priest love laugh.gif

    I am not sure if it is even proper for me to post on this, seeing as though I am the guild NOOB...but here goes.

     

    I very much agree with Gynis...as this has been an issue with my guild on Proudmoore.

     

    It is the age-old conflict between the "taking care of me" mentality and the "taking care of everyone" mentality. Many people see results from a "me, me, me" perspective, but at the end of the day are dissatisfied with the game, their guild, and/or themselves.

     

    To me, every single epic that drops benefits the guild (as long as it isn't dusted) and makes us more and more powerful overall. Though I enjoy seeing myself on dps charts and, without question, want to set fashion trends in the guild...getting the drop at the expense of how my guildmates view me is not a price I ever want to pay.

     

    Personally, I think we should look out for each other. It benefits us when someone in our class gets their 8th set piece versus us getting our 2nd...so let them have it, more will drop soon!

     

    And I think that this kind of generosity will be remembered and appreciated by all. Just my thoughts...silly me biggrin.gif

    Wow! I feel like I finally found my home...and I am excited to meet and get to know everyone in the family laugh.gif

     

    Thank you Stang and everyone for going out of your way to welcome me and to make this transition go so smooth.

     

    I really, REALLY enjoy helping people (almost as much as I enjoy pvp)...so please feel free to ask and I will lend a hand if I am not otherwise committed.

    I am the original Nefariousmg's friend...he has left WoW and wanted his account to be in good hands. I have a hard time believing any of the accusations made above against him, as I am overwhelmed everytime I log on with positive tells from the many friends he has made on Skullcrusher.

     

    Any of us who have played WoW for a respectable amount of time know that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and that people are often very quick to write you off due to a misunderstanding.

     

    My experience with the original Nefarious (will leave his RL name out of it) has been nothing but positive. Since I am not him and since I am not guilty of the statements posted above, I see no reason to try and defend them.

     

    I am withdrawing my application from FP, however, for an entirely different reason. Since I have an excellent reputation on my "home" realm, I will pursue a character transfer so that Nefarious can start anew and develop a reputation based on my actions, not another's.

     

    I want to thank Stangmeister and the rest of you for your words of encouragement in-game and on the website. I admit that I am a little sad about this decision as I really think you all have something really great going on here...and I wish I could be a part of it.

     

    To anyone the former Nefarious may have offended, please accept my apologies on his behalf. People change...people grow...and, we hope, learn from their mistakes.

    11. Are you more of a Hardcore gamer or a Casual gamer: Inbetween. I do things outside of WoW, but usually try and raid 3-4 times a week.

     

    12. Why would you like to join FP: The most important consideration for me is the feel I get from interacting with players in PvP, in-game, and the website. A guild of people that are tolerant and and able to have fun is critical. I have spent some time evaluating guilds and FP is very, very close to the guild I am in on Proudmoore (from what I see in-game and have read in the rules on the website.)

     

    I know I can bring a lot to the guild...I will provide little competition for locks in MC, AQ or BWL as my gear is pretty well off...and I like the idea of helping others (and consequently the guild) to become as "uber" as possible.

    14. Anything else you would like to say about yourself: I am friendly, helpful, and quite intimidating in terms of dps (grin.) I know there are no openings at this time, but I will wait as long as I can for the chance to join!
