Yea, considering the pen and paper has about a bajillion classes/prestige classes I thought the online version would atleast have alot of classes, but it really doesn't. Maybe as time goes on they will add more.

Hey Fp , DDO went semi-free recently, so Sauce started playing it, and then got me to play it. We are on the server that starts with a T ( the only one that does). Is it a great game? no, is it a fun run around and beat up monsters game, yes, and it's pretty much free, so that adds even more to it. The semi-free thing works like this, you open a free account, and only get 2 character slots, there's a couple of races and classes you don't have access to , you are limited to lvl 4 only, and there's alot of places you can't quest. Doesn't sound like anything great, right? Well as you play the game, and do dungeons on harder difficulties ( solo / normal/ hard / elite) you get in game points , with these points you go to the in game store and can buy all sorts of things ; armor , weapons, hirelings, potions , and the main one, lvling sigils which raise you lvl cap. You can also buy new area's to lvl in. For the most part from what I've heard, on a free account you can see something like 90% of the game. This game follows D&D 3rd edition pretty well, so if you like that style I think you will like this a lot. It runs like a hack and slash pretty much, you run in, kill shit, leave. Outside of towns you go into your own little instance ( that your party goes into also if you are in one) so you don't have to worry about tons of people being around. My main complaint so far, is you don't get loot from monsters really, and you don't get XP per kill, it's tallied all up at the end of a dungeon when you finish the quest involved. Anyone read Ultimatum? The newest event in Marvels Ultimate line. I haven't read it yet, but skimmed through a brief synopsis of it, it sounded like it was pretty much 75% trash, with some cool idea's involved. For some reason Marvel LOVEs to ruin their best selling comics , the Ultimate line has been some of the best comics I've read in a long time. Ultimates ( Revamped Avengers) was some amazing story telling mixed with exceptional art, the redo of the Avengers made them much more human in tone and attitude, and yet even more Super in many was than their older counterparts. Let me know what you though of it if you've read Ultimatum, if it's atleast a decent read Ill probably pick it up.

I've had alot of fun at each beerfest I've been to, so I'm looking forward to this one, I'd love to have a bunch of friends there to share the experience with.

You'd hope they'd either figured it out by now, or will work out all the kinks through beta of the x-pack. Hopefully if it's fugly, they just won't do it. This is Blizzard though, it'll either be amazing, or suck, and from there they will work on it every single patch until they decide to revert back to mana, or by some miracle Hunters are happy with a change ( finally) and their class can stop being worked on for at least 1 patch.

The new Quel is pretty much a dissapointment, but gotta have it anyways, just for memories sake.

Paladins used to have nothing but strikes as attacks, and that got changed. Remember, now until the time it comes out, SO much can and will change. Hell the new dances promised in Wrath never came out. I like the content added so far with this, but I kinda feel like the anouncment of this expansion was rushed or not as major as Wrath, because Wrath failed to live up to it's promise.

Will have to be made! Maybe Dez will finally be able to make his dual wielding tauren paladin......

They'd be fine, if anything happend Chris just DI's Div, when all the cars pass Div just clicks it off... they'd have to find Chris's body somewhere, but in the end, no harm no foul.

I always forget the camera for the parties. I never think there's enough pictures taken, to much fun going on and no one wants to be distracted.

If anyone wants to come by earlier Friday, hang out, play some games, you are more than welcome too. It's not a party, just a general get together , Ill grill some burgers and some such food, maybe hang out by the pool. I'm looking forward to showing off the new apartment.
