I'm glad I had a chance to see him a few years back. He was one of the few intellectual comics left. He lived a hard life though so this wasn't totally unexpected but definitely a blow for sure.

Gryph, I recommend bringing a grenade and a trident for your own safety. When you see Lyssa ride up on a horse...you know what to do....

Listen Skibbies...I mean Skadie...here's the plan. I drive up in a van, honk twice, you go outside to take out the garbage and get in. Your parents will think you've been kidnapped. The upside is that you get to attend the FP party and when you get back...you parents will be so happy that you're alive they'll get you a new car...or a new barbie doll...whatever you're into ...and, you will never have to take out the trash again.

The first Hulk movie wasn't good because no one wants to see Hulk fight his arch nemesis "daddy issues". Save that for Dr. Phil Presents: Hulk. What attracts people to see a comic book movie is simple action sequence with a loosely tied storyline having to do with getting said powers to cause even more havoc. You want to know more about the Hulk, then read the comics...there's all sorts of fluff there. Should be know why Banner has the Hulk and about his emotional trauma? Sure. Yet, it shouldn't overpower the movie. A Hulk movie isn't suppose to be a green man is struggling to overcome issues from his childhood while trying to be accepted by society. That's a character study, and really...there is no need to have a HUGE green giant to be part of that character study. There are tons of movies about kids dealing with their family issues as they grow up...yet none of them have a HUGE GREEN GUY in it. You know why? It doesn't add anything to plot. Yet, if you choose to have a HUGE green giant, then please give him something to fight that's an actual physical entity, especially in a movie based on a comic book (which mostly has to do with Hulk fighting and smashing stuff) The second movie seems to be heading in the right direction. Introduce the psychological issues as the basis for the transformation, mixed with some gamma rays (or TMNT ooze) and BAM...huge green dude and fights another huge dude ... with lots of explosions. It's like if they decided to do a Transformers Movie, but the plot being how lonely it is for a robot to be on a planet where everyone rejects them and fears them. No fights, other than the emotional trauma of a robot who has emotions and is "so human" while the humans are so "robotic". I think the new Hulk looks good and I enjoyed the Transformer's movie.
