  1. I want to do this with FIVE boomkins. Possibly six.
  2. From Forgotten Prophets to Flourishing Profits? It's a change I could live with.

    Free Rice

    Who counts these grains?
  4. Happy Birthday FP! I would add more, but I think Stang summed it up perfectly.
  5. If you can send me some specifics in what you're doing with the software, I might be able to make a recommendation. Power Point is great for presentations. Illustrator is great for making backgrounds and charts and graphs for those presentations. I looked into it, and the reason that Illustrator has the video formating menu, it seems, is so that you can make elements for DVD menus, title cards, etc. It sounds like, for you, Illustrator could really serve as a fancy clip art generator. I'm not sure how much farther than that you'd want to take it.

You could have just said these things to him in person, Q.

    Coffee vs. Tea

I'm willing to bet that a good portion of the FP population stopped reading right there.

    Coffee vs. Tea

And the governor of New York likes a particular hotel in the upper east side with a 5'4" brunette. Doesn't make it right.
  9. BTW: this is the kind of stuff you can make in illustrator. http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/1801/lenticularcardlayersei3.jpg
  10. When you say you're going to be using it for a presentation, I'm not sure I follow. Illustrator is pretty much a vector art program. If you're looking to do something with motion picture or video (taking out green screen, etc) then you might be beter suited to another set of adobe products. Namely Premier, After Effects, and Soundbooth. I suppose you could (maybe?) use Illustrator to do some of the overlays, but I don't think it has the capacity to handle motion picture or video. I could be wrong. And if I am, I have no DOUBT that someone will correct me . . . but yeah.
  11. Additional undocumented notes: They have outlawed Pre-made or Guild PvP. They did this in the way of making pre-made group queues unreasonably long. I suggest FP use it's might and launch a barrage on Blizzard HQ. The forums are useless, but there has to be another route inside!

I did not! That's why I have graphic designers. Shane took it.

What paranoia? Tea propagandist, are you? But really. I'm watching it. It's watching me. So far, neither of us has made a move. http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/3232/teaov9.jpg

    Coffee vs. Tea

So, my boss' secretary has me down to two cups of coffee a day or coffee only until 10:00am. I believe that this is because she likes torturing my office co-workers with my irritability without enough caffeine. Today, I asked if I could have a special dispensation because I got roughly 4.5 hours of sleep and i NEEDED it. She suggested tea. Now my tea is ticking. I don't know how. I don't know why. But the damn thing is ticking. Right here on my desk. I thought someone had either left a stopwatch under my keyboard or that someone was playing the theme music to "60 minutes" down the hall. It was neither of these things. I first thought it was a stack of paper (had one of my workers left me a bomb) and moved the stack of paper and still heard it. When I moved my tea to the otherside of my desk, it changed. Now it's coming from over there. Moral is: Don't trust tea as a replacement for coffee. It quite possibly could kill you or simply drive you mad.

    Help for Work

Alright all of you internet junkies - I'm overhauling our company's website and I need to find a few clean, well designed B2B sites to reference when I'm trying to get our webdevelopers on the same page as me. Can some of you post some links to websites that you think either look cool, or have really good functionality. Mostly look cool. Functionality is too expensive atm. For instance, one of my favorite websites is www.allurent.com. Anything you can show would be great. Basically, if it looks like a cool company website, I wanna see it.
  21. I went ahead and pinned this because it's too difficult to find after it drops off the front page.
