It's been in the states for at least 2 years that I know. I used to order it at the nightclub on special occassions back in the day. We got a bottle for a client last year in Fargo, ND. If you can find it there, it's attainable in almost any survivable place. . . . I want some Blue.

I LOVE JOHNNY BLUE! It' my favorite. Yum. Tough to find unless you're in a very good bar, though. Don't have enough scotch drinking friends to keep it at home.

First of all Raz, yes I read your post. I don't believe some of my questions were answered. I'll say this as nicely as possible, but please don't take a condescending tone on these boards. If you weren't, then I apologize, but this comment seemed dismissive and snippy. This, in my opinion, is a bad combo in a place like this. Secondly, like I said, I don't care how you do it one way or the other. I'm not the one organizing the raids, something I have an immense respect for. If it was that easy to put these events together, anyone could do it and would. You've chosen how you want the raids to play out, so if I want to go, I have to sign the waver. But knowing the personalities that arise and how finicky people can get with their loot, this is something that will arise. I just want to make sure the leadership is prepared for it. I don't know you enough to say you're a stand up guy or a filthy rotten cheat, so I have to give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm just expressing concerns where I see they need to be expressed. Don't take offense. Sorry if my surprise and questions took you off guard. This is something I thought would come with more advanced notice.

Just for the record, I have no problem with point systems. In fact, I think they're an excellent way to reward guild activity with loot. It was the system we used in my EQ guild (which meant hinanin could roll on everything and win everything for ever and ever and we all just had to accept that) but it was still a good system. What I do not like, however, is the administrative nightmare that is going to be around the corner when someone from some guild thinks that someone else is calling in favors or stacking the deck. Point systems only work in house, not among the neighborhood. When FP has enough members so I can log on and say "Guild MC raid in 20 min, everyone get to Thorium Point now" is the only time that I would be comfortable with this kind of arrangement. But, like Shoop said. He's not running the raids, so if we want to go, we abide by the system of the leadership. Bleh.

Points for cross guild raids is usually a headache that turns into a nightmare.

First, No. Secondly, what is the system and how do you determine points for those not in Aeternum? Are you keeping track of all alies who may show up for one raid? Do they expire?
  7. I'm out of it! Finally, rather than talking about stuff, someone took action. Personally, I'm more of a talker myself. I like to leave the work to those who get off on that sort of thing. I'm what you might call more of an "ideas guy" which is to say, come near me with a hammer or a paintbrush and you won't be very happy with where they end up. Good job, Shoop! Feel free to take any of the graphics or doodles I did for the first round of concepts if you want to tweak it. Oh, and Dragon, you're just upset that I'm not going to be there because that leaves only you to distract the giant women. Better you than me, bud.

    When are we...

Listen here, my little Anubis of Sin, I'm a very busy man. And while, yes, I did say that I was going to put together a new web theme, complete with flashy bits and sparkly parts, I haven't really gotten around to finishing it. So with that, I'll offer you "some day."

Yeah, I still prefer them jolly though. I find fat angry people scary. Especially fat angry women. Oh boy do they LOOOOOVE me though. Good thing I'm little so I can escape their clutches!
  10. LoL! I thought the exact same thing.

  12. This is, quite possibly, the funniest phrase ever written in English. . . . I have to go lie down. My tummy aches from all the laughing. omg. . .
  13. Does this mean I'm getting the boot?!

  15. I might be able to make you the mageweave boots. I'll check my tailoring recipes tonight when I log on. If I can, I'll send you a tell/items.

I think the upset was not the rules as they were posted in raid, but as they were understood as people were signing up. I know that if people had known that they weren't going to be eligible for loot ahead of time, then they may have reconsidered rescheduling their Monday. HOWEVER, now that we've had this dramatic education, I think we'll all be fine. To be honest, even if I wasn't eligble for loot, I probably would have gone, but that's because I'm in exile and typically have nothing better to do.

Ah, I misunderstood. I read your initial posts to mean that you had feedback from other members after the fact about FP not pulling it's weight, but didn't have specifics. My mistake. , so no need to respond to THIS thread. As far as the INNERVATE ERILYN NOW message, I had already blown mine, but I thought that to mean that you were going to. hehehe. I just thought, since I didn't see her mana bar move, you were out of range and had to recast . . . hence I saw it again, 2 min later. again, slight misunderstanding and slight doltishness on my part.

That's cool, Shoop. I understand that they were upset and I might even agree with them on some level, had that information been diseminated among everyone before signups took place. But, we live, we learn. Their arguments about "well how do we KNOW someone will use it" were weak at best, trying to justify changing the understanding of rules after the event began, but I digress. As far as specific information, I think that Dragon is right, and if you know of specifics that can be addressed with particular members, that information should be shared. Maybe not in a public forum, but via tells or otherwise. We cannot hope to improve on guild level if we don't make the effort to improve on the individual level. I have some ideas that I'll share with you at some other time in greater detail regarding channel set up and use. But, as a preview, Priests calling OOM in the priest and druid channels make it much easier for us to innervate than trying to watch both mana and health bars for some 40 odd people. Picking the priests out of the groups was tough enough, seeing as how I had to make the raid menu small so that I could have ANY kind of visibility whatsover. I think our healers and whatnot did well, but I'd like to see more help with removecurse and whatnot. I think every single person in the guild passed through my removecurse at least twice. Not a problem, but probably would have been more effective if we had backup. (then again, that could have been with backup, and there was just that much cursing going on). Anyhow, I think sharing information and constructive criticism is the best way for us to maximize our improvement rate. Maybe class leaders can do a summary after the raid on the forums for people to review and to set up strategies for next time. Good lord, I'm chatty.

I think in the interest of constructive criticism, you should get specifics. Even if it's just for the officers to consider. Mostly, because I think that some of those comments may be reflective of feelings still harbored because of the small incident that occurred just before the raid began. I normally don't accept people who make those comments without getting specific examples. LEMME AT 'EM!
