The song isn't about Ian Curtis perse, but a song about Geoff's failed relationships, and experiences that parallel Ian Curtis's life and death. Plus there are tons of Joy Division song titles refrences and such throughtout it. Good song, btw. That album rules, later Thursday just doesn't do it for me tho.

They were only a band for 3 years, when the lead singer Ian Curtis took his own life. The remaining band members went on to form New Order. There's almost no continuity to speak of. Moogles, Chocobos, Summons, Turn based combat system, oh and the music (to an extent). That just about sums up the amount of continuity in the series. Each game takes place in it's own self contained universe. You NEED to play FFVII. I still remember organizing my Dad's shed, and cleaning and mowing the front and back yard for an entire weekend so that my dad would take me and my friend to the mall to pick up a copy of FFVII. I still remember that I thought I'd gotten the better end of the deal (dare I say, perhaps I had?). FFVII looks stunning to me to this day, but I see things through some rose colored spectacles. This game might be a bit ugly foryou to enjoy, but try anyway, the story is amazing. and the FMV's were top notch for their time (the fact that they look more like action figures than real beings is endearing, damnit!) Go forth young one, seek FFVII, and limit break to your heart's content. oh and for the record.... Esper magic system beats materia. Though materia was pretty nice.
