By "they" you mean blizzard, or the general public? I have seen a quebec guild recruiting french only members. Now mind you, thats a language thing far more then it is a region thing. Regarless the next half hour the general chat was berrating each other wether or not its acceptable to recruit in this manner. A relatively uncontroversial screening process. Now imagine it regarding backgrounds or lifestyles that are by choice? Who are we aiding by creating these guild standards? Thats basically like saying "Hey, you're gay, and in order to enjoy this gaming experience, you should come to our guild so you can be with your kind." or the dreaded next step "yeah, you have all your gear, but is your girlfriends name Marcus?" Blizzard is making a fair attempt to nip it in the butt. They will fail, but I'm not going to fault them for making the effort. In fact considering the liberal base of their customers, I think it's kind of cool of them to stand up for protecting their customers, even if it means making the unpopular choice.

Im curious if your responses would be the same if it were an all christian or all straight guild.
