  1. Yeah I tried a bunch of different stuff. They told me at sprint all their new contracts say they aren't liable if you move and they cant provide service. All the more reason to pay them and gtfo. oh well! /iPhone
  2. Anyone successfully about to get out of paying early termination fees for their cell phone provider? I've heard a bunch of methods but want to be sure before I try it out. I hear you can dispute admin fees, say your area isnt covered, but have no idea what actually works. Anyone done this?
  3. yeah it's dumb but what can ya do Without reading any of the fine print, is this money you subtract from your income when you file or do they actually refund you this whole amount?
  4. you need a software codec to play DVDs in WMP least in XP. Power DVD comes with one and will link up to WMP.

  7. I agree, there was something a lot more epic about it when it was level 60. I remember thinking I'll never be in a guild good enough to raid or run MC. I was the master of 5 mans back at 60! I had my loot rules macros and all.

  9. Dell is trying to be really aggressive in their gamer pc market and I agree they have some really great products. If you don't end up building your own PC Q, they're something to look at. It shouldn't take you two days, it's mostly tedious work like screwing the motherboard to the case (which is like 80 friggin screws) and plugging in wires. It's really not that bad
  10. LOL I should start answering "Duncan's computer repair hotline"
  11. I would fall down and die laughing if you ever put those on the benz.
  12. I think it all depends on what you want. Knowing the components of a computer and how to swap them out is a very useful skill to have. It will save you time and money in the future. Not everyone is comfortable with it, and imo the hardest part is hooking up all the little cables for power button, fans, front usb, etc. But really all newer stuff is pretty intuitive to hook up. The down side is you can run into issues like one of my roomates where he just built his own PC and it is randomly blue screening and he doesn't know why. But his brother got the exact same PC built it, and it works fine.
  13. I think you'd be out of luck on the car, it says bought in '09. I don't understand the house one...
  14. They will hire Mexicans. What is Sikaa doing these days?
  15. Welcome to the FP homeowners association! congrats guys!!
  16. You would have to buy the OS. I'm sure you can "find" a copy online, but just be careful.

    FP Website

The site was bouncing this morning but it looks like our host has it under control now. They defined it as a "slight Apache configuration error."
  18. As much as I hate to say it Bob has a point. Having Kimball make you a list and you putting it together is better long run too.
  19. Asus makes a lot of hardware they're pretty decent. Samsung is the brand to get of monitors if you want good value and great quality. Have Kimball make a shopping list for you, he can work with any budget.
