Something to note for next time, if you're a healer and you're out of mana. DIE!!! You get rezzed with full health and full mana without doing jack. Sure, it's a durability loss, but it's instant mana. No rebirth, OOC rezzer, or innervating required.

Grats to Rat on the polearm, Xinia on his new axe, and to Klaudius on the Primal Seal (part of a great ring set). And thanks to Garnok for saying "Hykos can you unselect your target". I fell asleep and that woke me up

Quit being such a priest Erlin. Do some damage some time. yeesh.

I don't know how I didn't see that Trogdor costume at AWA. That's hard to miss.

Grats on the most uber staff in the game Bramas. Can't wait to see more sparkling sticks on the backs of FP healerbots. *runs to go help Rets get an EoS*

File Front offers free hosting and downloading. Not sure what the size limit is though.

Only because it takes a very hardcore and gigantic guild full of people with absolutely no lives to get to them in time to tag ‘em and drop ‘em. It’s sad how most people will never get to fight these guys because of guilds like exo.

awww I got skipped. Thank goodness Eni hit reply.

A gnome female warrior with pick puffy hair. Snugglepops is the only option!!!!!!

As for Kazzak and Azerogus, there are only 3 guilds on SC that take them. Immo, Exo, and NA. They've got it camped well. Supposedly Exo uses bots to do it, but that's hearsay. As for the 4 new ones at the Emerald Dream portals, I'm not so sure if they're going to be 40 mans. They look pretty small in the pics. Not very Ony like. Hopefully WoW has devised a better way of handling these outdoor bosses. Personally, I think all outdoor bosses should spawn regularly, but each player is saved to it once they have killed it. But since I don't own Blizzard that isn't going to happen. They only way for us to get Kazzak and Azerogus is for us to turn into a guild that we don't want to be. We can live without killing them. You also mentioned Eye of Shadow. There's another way to get this that doesn't involve killing Kazzak or buying one. I know Rets and Panda have each been farming for one.

Eni.... you have a PM

I talked to someone else that uses the "keep someone inside of Domo strat". Apparently it works well. And they do use a hunter, not a warrior. And have we been using Distracting Shot on Domo. Supposedly it works well to use it when the tank gets ported.

You earned them many ways. Peanut Butter knowledge is just one of them.

No that's druids. Yall just shield hearth with your tail between your legs :- p

I've got mine set up to show me 4 things: MotW, Thorns, Regrowth, and Rejuv. I'm not sure if Bandage is an option. If it is I'm dumping the Thorns. I also have it set by class. Best way to have it in MC imo. Do you not have your normal party frames up? And I think for this fight Felz is right. We need the healer channel. Typing and reading macros is FTL.

The "put someone inside of Domo" strat. sounds good. We should at least try it if it works for others. It would be awesome if we can find a way to keep Domo in one spot! BTW, is the teleport on a specific time interval?

Yes, but we had 6 tanks, it's easy to divide up the priests when we have 7. We won’t have that many druids or palies, so those need to be assigned a little different than "just heal the one in your group". And I know people were healing others too, cuz they sure as heck weren't bandaging, and they didn't die, so then someone was healing them. I think Priests are fine healing their tanks like they were, I should have clarified that. I think druids need to be paired with 2 priests and they need to watch those priests' tanks. Palies should be healing the rest of the raid when people can't/won't bandage. On another note, Blessing of Light goes a long way. It needs to be on everyone that a paly is going to heal. Even if that person whispers for Kings, screw it, give 'em Light. The only exception should be for Healers that need BoW and tanks that need BoK.

ROFL awesome thread derailment Heil Back on topic though From my point of view, I think the number one problem yesterday was with heals, and for three reasons. First is that most of us have never done a fight that is as excruciatingly long as this and with the added bonus of multiple adds. This is a whole new type of fight for us and we have to practice a great amount of mana conservation in it. Secondly is the fact that too many people were taking unnecessary damage. Meaning, we had people taking damage from multiple adds at once, when these adds should be far enough apart so that doesn’t happen. Now I’m no warrior, so I couldn’t tell anything about our guys keeping agro, so I’m just going to chalk this one up to ignorance on our part. I for one had no idea where the OT’s where suppose to take these guys and hold them while we killed one at a time. I’m assuming others where in the same boat and blindfolded. So basically, we didn’t know where NOT to stand. Third reason, BANDAGING. Not enough people do this. Every dps class needs to be bandaging themselves. Healers are not and can not take our primary focus off tanks and other healers. If they die we’re all fubard. They’re our priority. Bandage yourself if you can. End of story. So, one thing that will help is making sure everyone’s informed on where the OT’s are going and where the one add that’s being attacked needs to be so that we don’t take damage from more than one add. Other thing is healing rotations and assignments; enough has been posted on that on the other thread. Lastly, please oh please oh please God make people bandage /cry I was already going to do a 5 man druid only run. But hey, a 40 man raid is even better

hmmm I was already thinking about popping the question to Eni, but since she lives in Utah..... Polygamy FTW

As for using HoT's, personally I'm not a fan of them during long fights (o_O a druid that doesn't like hot's, omg I know, shocking isn't it?!?!). They’re far too mana inefficient to use in a fight like this imo. Aside from using Imp Rejuv (which is about the same HP per Mana as HT rank 6) I try not to use HoT's. I'd rather take one second longer to cast than waist more mana in a fight that's drawn out over 10 minutes. Another problem with them is that other healers may not notice them on when they see that so and so is low on health, or they may not know how much healing will be done by that HoT, so they then throw another heal on them when it isn't necessary. Well I don't know if one person is enough to prove that people are bandaging, it's just enough to prove that Prime is uber and cares about his healers :- ) This also proves that we need healer assignments and not random healing whomever whenever. That works fine for Ony and other single bosses, but when we have a boss with multiple adds and we have 5 OT's we need a strict assignment and we need to stick to it. That way it's easier to pay attention to whether or not someone is recently bandaged because you aren't looking at all 40 health bars.

In regards to the number of healers we had last time, I really don't think we need too many more. Too many and we don't have enough DPS and then the fight will last 15 minutes. Ideally I think we need 6 priests, 4-5 Palies, and 3-4 Druids for a max of 14. I think at our best yesterday we had 7 Priests, 3 Palies, and 2 Druids. Priests and druids need to be paired for Innervate and Rebirth if necessary. 1 druid per 2 priests and if we have a 4th druid he should probably take it easy during the first part of the fight incase 1 of the others dies. 1 paly of course is a Medic, the other 3 palies should focus on healing the dps, where as the priests and druids should focus on their assigned tank(s). Each priest should have a warrior and each druid should watch over the two tanks that their two priests are watching. As for Innervate and Mana pots, this fight is long enough for each druid to use 2 Innervates. We need to use our first one FAST so that we have one ready near the end when everyone is running low. Whoever doesn’t get an innervate needs to make sure they use a pot before they're half way out of mana. The fight is long enough to use 4 pots, but there shouldn't be a reason for that many as long as we ration our mana. The raid leader needs to stress the idea of bandaging yourselves. Healers already know this, so to tell ourselves to is silly. We need to ingrain this idea into the minds of Mages, Rogues, and Hunters. Bandage Bandage Bandage!!! As for Rebirth, I think this needs to be the call of the Medic. He needs to be on the ball and let us know when he can't reach a healer to rez them. We need to use at most 2 rebirths per fight, preferably only 1, so that we have another for the 2nd attempt or 3rd or however many it takes to get this mofo to submit to us.

About a 1.5G in mats if available. Every healer should have 1-2 per fight imo. One of the things I've noticed on Domo videos is that the players that made them always bandage and rarely do they get heals. If you're a melee or caster and you take a big hit or get ported into the center the first thing you need to do when you loose aggro is bandage. Healers have to focus on tanks and other healers. I have no shame in letting a damage dealer die to keep a warrior alive, sorry. Something Panda suggested weeks ago and I wish we had practiced it since. Healers are going to have to stick to tank assignments and it might be best to let a couple sit out for the first 2 or so adds and then come in and take over healing the MT so the other 2 can rest. Does it stack? I love seeing a tank that understands healers.

Oh man these are awesome. I really love Panda's.
