imo....remove the dot from insect swarm and increase the chance to miss...although it would be nice to use that on boss fights. Things like bag of marbles (-25% chance to hit) do work on mobs like onyxia.

That's a bit more reasonable on the virtual memory. The fact that reformatting doesn't help leads me to believe it's a hardware error more than anything else. If the RAM isn't an issue, it's time to knock that off the list. My next guess would be the video ram. You mentioned that this only happens wheny ou play 3D games, and those tend to load a lot of textures into the video memory, whereas everyday applications are light on those if they use them at all. I don't know a cost effective way to test this, unfortuantely. Anyone have any ideas?

It's a problem related to memory allocation, or at least appears to be so. My biggest questions are: why is your page file SO large (you allocate about 2GB to virtual memory and the pagefile is using around 1 GB...should be at most closer to 1/2 that on both values if you only have 512MB of ram), how much free space do you have on the partition where you keep the pagefile (if you don't know what that means, how much free space do you have on the drive with windows installed on it), and do you run programs in teh background while playing wow? Unfortunately, no one's ever figured out a great way to output error reports so it seems...they just give you all the hex from the memory and registers which doesn't mean anything to the human eye.

I know how to build a railgun...but it's expensive if you want it to be reuseable...

Well, I can still own rogues and prot specced warriors... Can't own druids, priests, fury warriors, shamans, and beast hunters. Paladins, warlocks, it depends on speccing and relative skill. I imagine that paladins when they get to reworking them will fall into the can't own category...which leaves rogues, prot warriors, and warlocks with the proper speccing. Sigh...and we still have a lot of bugs that need fixing.

Ok, that's it...I give up vs Druids...

I actually proposed a chain kite, but everyone was too enamored with the thought of killing Fort (we like to throw amp magics on his during onyxia for shits and giggles because he's...hesistant...with heals). What you do is have 1 hunter distracting shot, run as far as he can to the next hunter, the next one distracting shots and the old hunter feigns death. Do this all the way back to garr's room. If you guys want to try that (and not burn a pally divine shield) let me know how it works out.

A hunter tried to use aspect of the cheetah, but it was just too slow. Remember that mobs run fast, MC bosses even faster. The main problem is that Shaz blinks.

These next few weeks are going to be hard for me to play WoW. Exams, assignments, an online class I still haven't watched the lectures for...lol

We actually tried to use a druid with sprint. Running at 170% was by far inadequate...the druid dropped very quickly. In the end we ended up using a pally.

Lol...we've been trying to figure out a good way around that new problem. We don't want the puller dying is the big thing. And Shaz moves very fast. Anyway, if you hunters didn't know this, get yourself a bat from ZG. 1.0 atk speed.
