On august 13,2007 I will be shipped to boot camp and deployed, most likely to Iraq to fight against terrorism. On that KIA post it says he was KIA on April 20, 2007. Daghostmaker 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2007 Taurenpower and FP were linked by some pretty awesome threads on the SC forums from our ventures to Orgrimmar and his random world PvP adventures. We all traded some pretty hilarious barbs back and forth and although some were pretty mean, they were all meant to be tongue in cheek. He knew it, we knew it.... it was just some good natured fun. I talked to him many times when I was on my horde toon and he was a REALLY REALLY cool guy. It really puts it all into perspective. It's times like these that make me realize that WoW is more than just a game. After a pretty emotional weekend for me personally, with the party and all that has happened, still to this moment not sure that I have done something that will make me happy in the long run, this story brings to a sharp reality what we have here in FP. All those who are new here and think that this is just another guild, another vehicle to score the epix or whatever, would be best served to take a closer look. What you have here is a huge group of friends that just genuinely like playing together. Friends that travel hundreds of miles by car and some (Raven) travelled thousands of miles from the other side of the earth just to meet and hang out, share a case of beer and a story. Hm...Also interesting how his sister claims he liked being called 'Brett' but his real name was 'Jeffery'. Add to that his RL friend Saphiron said the following in SC forums: I'm confused. I'm in fact Taurenpower's real life friend... That's not his picture...unless he changed a lot in the past month(s). I don't remember him being 23... We just graduated high school. I could have sworn I saw him at graduation or at least after April. April (i looked up more on this). Is it perhaps a bad link? ...
