Krotas 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 omg /bump i saw a prescreening of transformers tonight and thought i'd just mention what i noticed since we've been "theorizing" about it in here the movie rocked; it had a ton of action, the entire theatre was cheering as each autobot entered the movie, and the graphics were crazy. The fighting scenes were intense as hell and there was hardcore, brutal metal hand to metal hand action (Heck... Megatron picked up another robot that will remain nameless.... and BROKE him in HALF... and optimus prime CUT another bot's head OFF) yet there was much to be desired, as expected. All of the bots lacked defining features; so in the intense fighting scenes one guy would get his ass kicked and u would b left wondering who just died because u couldn't tell which one was which. Another thing was a MASSIVE lack of realism; for instance at the end of the movie the secretary of def says "and there was no evidence of it ever happening".... an ENTIRE city was WHIPED OUT... when it was still full of people and robots were running around shooting at each other... how do a couple million people forget that happened? /rant off Oh and i know there are a few movies that come out in the states before they do in canada, but i'm pritty sure it comes out for u guys tomorrow doesn't it? hope i'm right, haha
Drunknduncan 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Another thing was a MASSIVE lack of realism So wait, a movie about giant robots lacked realism? Thanks for this clearly obvious criticism. They need to do something about Canadian schools if the youth of Canada expects a robot movie to be realistic. Silly Canada.
