Is there a setting somewhere to keep me logged in?

Yea. Tthe radio button didn't activate when I clicked it. Looks like it might just be a problem with Opera.

It doesn't keep me logged in while I'm at work. I hate it. I had the same problem on the old forums, though, just not as bad.

Lyssa, are you behind a firewall? Like a University or corporate firewall? Those seem to be the problem.

Figured it out, it's a cookie issue and one I've come across with some of the other forums I host.

Basically I had bookmarked "www.forgottenprophets.com" but the domain name is setup in the forums admin panel is most likely "forgottenprophets.com" and I make that assumption based on what I see in my browser address bar when I click on the banner at the top of the forums. The lack of www. in the forum settings seems to wreak havoc on the cookies of people who have the www. bookmarked.

I used to come across this when I had secondary domain names setup, like http://forums.windsoffury.net that pointed to http://www.windsoffury.net/index.php.

I changed a security setting last night. Something about the way the site recognizes Cookies and IP's to prevent "Cookie Theft" (I assume this can only be the work of the devious Cookie Monster).

So far it works for me. I can now stay connected and post from work.

Didn't Ready mention something about wanting a cookie in another thread, I think we have a suspect ;)

I removed the "www." in my bookmark, and it seems to work now, thanks Lyssa!

Glad I could help. :biggrin2:
