New Forums wooooo

The new forums are here yay!

 

There is A LOT of stuff to do still, and a lot of features are not turned on yet. BUT, we got forums so wewt. Far as I know, the only way to see all the posts during the day is to click "View New Posts" up top, which used to be the "New Posts: 107", for you trollers like me.

 

The Blue Skin of the forums wont be around long. So dont /hate.

 

Let us know of any bugs you see, and, make sure you all have the correct permissions. The "search" i did left out a lot of people so I had to skim the list looking for people that weren't on it that I noticed. Like Ben wasn't showing up, Shiki, mostly Councilors but anyone else let us know xD.

Soo.....how do you add stuff/change stuff? Like, an avatar or change sigs or something?

There should be a button at the top of the screen that says "My controls" where you can edit your profile.

 

These profiles are also MUCH more in depth than our last ones.

Fixed the avatar size.

 

Enabled the "Fast Reply" for every forum. It's currently different than our old one, you click fast reply to open the box. Its next to add reply / New topic on the bottom.

Also, something that took me forever back when we were testing IPB. (Invision Power Boards, our new forums)

 

To Quote someone / respond at the same time, click the quote button, it will turn red. THEN hit reply.

 

This is a feature that allows you to select multiple quotes so you can have them all in one reply. Just click quote on all the ones you want to quote, then reply. xD

 

AND, to edit. You click edit, and it will bring up a little window. You can "Full edit" or "Quick Edit". Quick edit is just a faster way to edit text. Full edit is for changing it completley.

Whoever cleaned up the Stickies in the Application Forums, Thank you.

 

I was so close to asking Gynis for 24 hour mod access to clean it myself, now I don't have to worry

AND I just discovered that you have to "Mark all posts read" at the bottom of the index in order to get the colors of the lil buttons to change from light to dark to show new posts.
