Ecthelion 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2006 I've got this friend that was in the army in the 80s. When he was in boot someone in his barracks called the DI "Sarge". I learned two things from the story he told: 1) a sarge is really a bottom feeding fish. 2) if your DI knows this and you call him sarge, there is no limit to the suffering that you'll endure.
