I've been scarce lately

Back on my first character Feath, when Shoop and I were first leveling up I reached about lvl 30 or so with the priest and really decided the class didn't fit my playstyle all that well. At that time I really wanted to roll a Shamen, however because of the guild and friends here on Skullcrusher I really didn't want to leave so Shoop talked me into rolling up a druid. I've been pretty happy overall with my druid, though of course I've got some obvious complaints about the class sometimes (dps).

 

Haven't been on Skullcrusher much lately. Mainly because I'm kinda disappointed with aliance in AV. So I decided to roll up a shamen. Well needless to say I've fallen in love with the class. It fits my playstyle so well. And yes I agree they are a little on the overpowered side. Looking at it at first it doesn't seem all that great, however check the movie that I've linked below to see it in action. Basicly it gives a paldin shield (not divine shield, the physical damage shield) for 10 seconds as long as you dont melee attack. If you attack melee then the shield drops. I know it's rediculus that Shamen can wear an item that basicly gives the same benefit as a paladins class skill, but its a proc and not a skill so it's a little less reliable, but it also doesn't have a cooldown so it's a tradeoff. It procs alot against fast attacking classes like rogues, not so good against slower 2h users. However I suggest EVERY hunter get one of these. It's crafted and takes about 1000 gold worth of materials, but god it's uber, so worth the time to collect the components. Hunters can basicly stand there and shoot thier bow while immune to melee, which is what thier main vulnerability is.

 

Anyway, next patch is supposed to include druid fixes, and well, this will make or break the class for me. If it goes well I'll be back on Skullcrusher permanent. If not, well I'll most likely be moving to Illidan with my shamen permanent. So i'm keeping my fingers crossed for druid love.

Oh and btw, Alliance AV has gotten a lot better, or so I hear, with some of the bigger guilds helping organize the effort. I have yet to check it out myself but if/when I do I'll let ya know .
