45 Minute Baron - Owned

Myself Ginn and Chica finally did it tonight

 

45 minute baron was not only completed but straight owned with the help of Garnok

The group compo was: Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Pally, Hunter

 

My best advise to those of you attempting this is as follows:

 

Try to adhere to a time table the best one to go for.

 

Zig 1 Down by 37 mins left

Zig 2 Down by 27 mins left

Zig 3 Down by 22 mins left

Inside the Gate for the Abominations 16 mins left

Ramstein down very minimum 5 mins left

 

I personally think there is no way a standard pug could do this without sick buffs but the only ones we really used were mongoose and winterfall firewater. Always have 1 dps class assisting the tank. And its a huge help if the tank is not protection spec you need the dps to complete it.

 

Good luck to all trying to attempt this keep practicing the run and keep shaving time off the clock

We rocked the Baron it was awesome. I haven't had that much fun playing WoW in a long time, after several failed attempts succeeding with near 5 minutes to spare was definitely an uplifting moment. I was so excited I didn't think and ended up hearthing when the quest lady was just outside Baron and I had to run back >.<

 

Thanks to Ginn, Shad, Jam, and Garnok for kicking butt. We are so gonna be the first 3 on skullcrusher with full Dungeon Set 2

 

p.s. thanks to loofa too, we might not have succeeded that night but you helped us learn how it had to be done, we couldn't have done it w/o you

OMG thanks to everyone thats helped!!!

 

another tip as well for healers/casters stock up majorly on mana pots and as much buffs as possible!

 

there shouldnt be any down times at all, it is also handy to have a secondary healer pally/druids in the group as they can heal while priest drinks.

No, as far as I know the instances are the same since you were last there Evan.

That would suck if they made those instances hard. I'd hate having to find a PUG at that point and might just try to slip an alt through MC instead, lol.

Yea, as far as I know they are no longer PUGable. Well, at least not it 45 min.
