Hopefully shoop will read this......anyways I was reading on the website the promotion requirements and such and it spoke of a sponsor? Are you my sponsor since you invited me into the guild? Or is that whole system not in affect atm?

Whole system not in effect ATM. After two weeks probation, odds are, you'll be promoted to member.

lol, you are due for review on the 18th .. the current policy is that you are on probation for a minimum of 2 weeks, during which time the guild (especially officers) gets to know you .. when 2 weeks are up we promote to member, decide to give it more time, or deny membership. Thus far only one person has been turned down (Wildburt).

 

And yes, unless you do something really stupid or turn into an asshole, odds are you will be promoted to member.

 

Probation is also the "warning" rank for those members who mess up. Thus far only one person has done so and was reinstated as a member a week or so later.

And by review we mean:

 

"Hey, so it's been 2 weeks since Erlin joined."

 

"Yeah?"

 

"Yeah. So...umm...has he made an ass of himself?"

 

"No, I don't think so."

 

"Recommended by at least 3 other officers: check...looks good to me."
