Daghostmaker 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 We got it about 2 weeks ago. I have yet to actually take any video using fraps to use for editting but I do know that Stric messed with it a bit and made the MC video Sticky-ed in the News forum with it. To my knowledge he never even looked at the manual that came with it. He just started toying with it. He showed me one day and it looked VERY easy to manipulate. It is about 100 bucks though so you may want to see if you can find a trial type version to make sure you like it. Ghost
juniorx2 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2005 I have used camtasia studio, adobe premiere and sony vegas. Sony vegas was awesome, adobe premiere is complicated but can do tons of stuff once your familier with it. camtasia studio is a beginner software. Its how i made my first few game videos
Stricnyne 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2005 Vegas is FTW.... i could type for hours about how sweet it is but you can get the demo for free and a retail box for $90. When the edited MC video comes out (soon) you will see how a editing n00b likes me puts a sweet twist on regular plain old video! -
Kopi 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2005 If you want something that's simple and probably already on your computer, go Start->Programs->Accessories->Entertainment->Windows Movie Maker. If you want to do some more advanced video editing, then yes find a retail program, but if you just want to be able to add music, intros, credits, cut clips, etc etc...then Windows Movie Maker is about as simple as it gets. Bentley 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 It is simple enough for me to figure out and I put out two movies so far. Working on a third. But the quality and extra toys come when you pay for them.
