Shoop 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2005 Okay, here's the latest on recruiting: 1) Only councilors and officers have the power to invite players to the guild. 2) Only current full-time members in good standing will be allowed to sponsor recruits. We realize that "good standing" is vague: it will be left to the discrection of the officers. 3) No random sponsoring. You should know the person you are sponsoring. 4) The player you are inviting is required to be at least level 20. 5) New recruits will be in a probationary period and rank for two weeks. This is subject to extension based on special circumstances and officer discretion. At the conclusion of probation, the officers will determine whether or not the recruit fits in with the guild and should be made a full member. If the recruit does not fit in he/she is removed from the guild. 6) At least two officers must have interacted with the recruit during probation, and the evaluations of these officers will be considered greatly in the final decision of whether or not the recruit should be made a full member. Alectrona 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2005 I think Shoop covered all the bases on the recruitement rules however, I noticed yesterday that we had a number of new members and there seemed to be some confusion on the Officer Party rule. The probationary period is for two weeks. This doesn't change after you party with an Officer. You cannot be intialized as a full member until your two week probationary period is complete. The officers who party with these intiates will aid in the final decision at the end of the two week probationary time. Although I do think Shoop covered this in the previous post, I think it needed to be stated again. Any questions on these policies should be posted on this forum.
