How to get a +15FR Ring

So there is a chain of quest that you get from Duke Hydraxis in Azshara. Along with getting the water that is needed in MC for the Runes, you also get your choice of 2 rings; Ocean's Breeze and Tidal Loop. Here is the location of Duke Hydraxis.

So you make the long trek to the Duke and he gives you a nice little starting quest. Stormers and Rumblers where you have to go kill x15 Dust Stormers and Desert Rumblers in Silithus. In the following map, the Red Circles are where the Stormers are and the Blue circle is where the Rumblers are.

So now you have killed 30 mobs for the Duke in farmer filled sands but he isn't done with you yet. Next comes the quest Poisoned Water which will be done in Eastern Plaguelands. You will be fighting Plague Ravagers around the lakes in EPL. The Duke gives you an item, Aspect of Neptulon, that you will use on the Ravagers which will change them into Discordant Surges which is the only way to get the Discordant Bracers to drop. You will need 12 of the Bracers. The elementals can be found in the circled arounds of this map.

So now you make the long voyage back to the Duke to find out he is not done with you yet. The next is Eye of the Emberseer (Raid) in UBRS. You have to slay Pyroguard Emberseer in order to get the Eye of the Emberseer. That is the end of this quest so you get to run back to the Duke.

 

So here is your next task, The Molten Core (Raid). This one is easy since you will finish this quest while on our weekly MC raids. You have to kill x1 Molten Giant, x1 Firelord, x1 Ancient Core Hound, and x1 Lava Surger. Piece of cake. If you're lucky and Gryph is in a good mood he might even let you port out real quick during a raid to turn this quest in and get the next one.

 

Now in order to get the last quest you have to be Honored with the Hydraxian Waterlords, if you are not, there is no reason to go turn in the last quest since it is such a long run, but if you are honored here is the next quest, Hands of the Enemy (Raid). This is the quest you have probably hear about where everyone needs to get their "Hands." You have to get the hand off of Lucifron, Gehennas, Shazzrah, and Sulfuron (all the lizard bosses before Domo). That is it for the quest chain. You get those hands and go back to the Duke and he gives you Aqual Quintessence so you can start helping with the summoning of Domo. And after he gives you that he will give you another quest where you jump in the water around the island and there is a box you open where you get to choose one of the before mentinoed rings.

This quest is a lengthy one and those runs to duke hydraxis are annoying but the ring is certainly worth it as well as the satisfaction of extinguishing a fire!!

 

To get to honoured with the waterlords is not a lengthy process... unlike other reputation grinds... trash mob kills and boss kills in MC will noticeably push ur rep up pretty fast!

I'll get mine tomorrow. After the first few pulls I'll go to azshara, turn in.. and then collect the hands.
