P.P.S. Please replace all mages and rogues with hunters and warlocks, mages and rogues are no longer necessary. They do not provide debuffs and do less dps than hunters and warlocks and have no crowd control.

I'd like to correct that not all curses can stack either... CoS, CoE, and CoW at least can only be put on once. No matter which lock is casting.

Personally I think our warlocks are lucky, I don't know any other guild that takes as many as we do =/

I definitly understand where your coming from. I only get every 3rd weekend to play onyxia and MC. This week however i saw the post but all rogue spots were filled. However I noticed that most of the rogues in the grp have yet to go to MC/Onyxia so i accepted it(Never know, sometimes people drop out so i can probably take their place)

 

I stil lagree that all recruiting be halted for now since we do have over flows for all classes.

Ah so many replies since i've been on last, yesterday. LOL. Well i tend to get off work past 8 on saturdays so its hard for me to do ony. I got keyed and wish i could. And if this hasnt already been cleared up, useful curses like curses of doom and agony both stack. Curses of elements and shadow vulnerability of course do not. I admit that six warlocks would probably be overdoing it. I do have one question though. Every class does not want to see their class bring less to raids. So it an understood that if we bring more of one class that we bring less priests? I will also raise at this time another controversial issue. If you have a lock that knows how to play his character, is wearing all his damage and +% crit to spell gear, and maybe even speced in destruction such as myself--then it will out dps most classes. I see experienced locks scoring near the top of damage meters in raids all the time. Personally, I am usually in the top 3 damage dealers of most raids I have been in under 15-man. I know that thornblade and rodarn have gear that is just as good as mine. Not many people play locks, and out of those, even less play them well, but when handled properly they become a formidable class, i'm sure.

The main point is this: We have more of every other class than we do warlocks, so if we are to remove or replace a dps class, it seems only fair that it should be a warlock, both in principle and in the loot system.

Anyways back on to the main topic...

Being a rogue its hard to get into the raids sometimes. Best thing to do if you wana get into a raid is, check the forums every morning and every night. And even if you sign up and cant make it cause of real life stuff, there is always overflow so its not like your letting the guild down or anything.

Just remember, Shiki. Don't sign up to hold your spot and make plans later. If you know that you can't make it, please sign up with "put me in overflow, I want to see what happens."

 

People who KNOW they can be online should always get priority. Again, if something last minute comes up, that's fine. We all understand RL, but please be considerate of your other guildies and post something accordingly.

 

I don't want people getting into the habbit of signing up if they don't have any genuine intention of going or even know that there's a good shot that they won't be able to. I think this might be part of the problem with no-shows that we're having lately.

Oh yah, I dont agree with people signing up just to hold a spot for them. I was just saying if an emergency comes up and you have to go, there are always people in overflow willing to fill in.

 

Plus im sure the officers keep track of all the no-shows to make sure no one does something like this.

Oh I definatley second that motion. There should be an item with stats that can be equiped in the ranged slot for Pallies and Druids, even if thats all it does is raise intellect by 9 and stamina by 4. Every little bit helps =) (yes I know this has nothing to do with the original post, sorry =P)

I don't plan on it. My gear used to be freaking awesome. That was 8 months ago, now it sucks. My character has gotten 1 new item in the last 6 months. Anyway, I'm 5/13/31 now. I was just saying that I know of a druid who tops the dps chart in his guild's MC raids.

So here is what I do to get into raid lists..../makes a break for it! Elbows past Loofa, /kicks Miz in the sack! /tells Garnok he dropped a pack of smokes.../makes believe superman is flying and CC's looks, /tell Akkasha that the guys thinks she is pretty is lying..she stops dead in her tracks and give the death look (this is a bold move, and has deadly reprocusions) this is where the running really starts to pick up..Sileed is old and confused so just throw some blood preasure pills around he'll forget, trust me. By this time Miz and Garnok are chasing me, this is where a real pack of smokes is thrown and Garnok's makes a decision...he'll pick them up (if you have some beer makes sure you place that on the ground too) Get some random blonde teenager for Miz, works everytime his tongue will hit the ground and begin to blubber out some kind of pick up line.
