Rogues in Raids

Hey i dont see a rogue forum so i figure this would be the best place. I was just wondering what the other rogues in the guild do in MC and other raids and what talent build your using.

 

First things first here's my talent build:

This has been my build since lvl 50 or so, originaly i was combat then i switched to this since I thought it would be better for pvp and on raids.

 

As for my strategy for raids i just use backstab alot and kidney shot, but if i cant stun the enemy i'll use eviscerate. Also i tend to use Cold Blood and Preperation every time they cool down, unless im close to a boss then i'll save it for them.

Awesome, thx for unlocking the other forums for me Stang. I found the rogue forums but still can't seem to find the FP Dance Party or the Hot Chicks That Play WoW forums... but i guess i'll keep looking.

The most important things for rogues to know about PvE raiding is that they need to handle their own healing. If you reach 50% health, don't wait for a priest to heal you, just move away from the mob and bandage yourself. This lets the priests concentrate on healing tanks and lets you stay alive.

 

The second most important thing for rogues is positioning. Make sure you stay out of harm's way as much as possible. If a mob is spamming AoE attacks... don't charge in an evicerate, no matter how much you want to. Hang back and fight from range if you think you are going to die.

Yah your right about all that Gryph, i kinda just generalized what i do in a raid. I try my best to keep agro on the tank cause plate>leather. Its definetly a good idea to keep agro down as a rogue with feignt and i also drop a vanish if i crit to much, just to be ont he safe side. Or if its a long boss fight and i need to eat to get my health back hehe
