Lord Kazzak & Azuregos

These guys drop some uber stuff... as well as the eye of shadow that our priests will need badly now that we can down domo - and we need to get them their epic staff so that we, druids, mages, warlocks etc. have one less class to compete against when some sweet healing/dmg weapon or offhand drops in MC

 

Anyway... i'm just wondering if we plan to give these 2 bosses a shot one day... i know that many guilds hv little alt warlock bots around their spawn points to farm them but i saw azuregos just waltzing around azshara the other day while i was giving duke hydraxis a visit.

 

Would be awesome if we could add these 2 bosses to our kill list.

 

Or hv FP attempted them before... does anyone hv experience with either of them btw?

Thing is, those bosses are regularly camped during our usual raid times. However, once those new dragons come out those jerks will have something else to do. So when 1.8 comes around, I think we'll start having serious talks about it.

every morning when im in azshara, the dragon is there all by himself. around 10:00am eastern time, immo comes with another guild and kills him

well we seem to have tons of alt warlocks, maybe we should escort them over to azuregos spawn area.

The 4 new dragons from the emerald dream... i'm so curious about the lore behind this one... i really want to know the fate of malfurion stormrage.

 

From the stuff they drop... i know our feral druids are gonna press forward on attempting them lol! But they're gonna be friggin hard... their loot is just so awesome!

As for Kazzak and Azerogus, there are only 3 guilds on SC that take them. Immo, Exo, and NA. They've got it camped well. Supposedly Exo uses bots to do it, but that's hearsay.

 

As for the 4 new ones at the Emerald Dream portals, I'm not so sure if they're going to be 40 mans. They look pretty small in the pics. Not very Ony like. Hopefully WoW has devised a better way of handling these outdoor bosses. Personally, I think all outdoor bosses should spawn regularly, but each player is saved to it once they have killed it. But since I don't own Blizzard that isn't going to happen.

 

They only way for us to get Kazzak and Azerogus is for us to turn into a guild that we don't want to be. We can live without killing them.

 

You also mentioned Eye of Shadow. There's another way to get this that doesn't involve killing Kazzak or buying one. I know Rets and Panda have each been farming for one.

However Kazzak has a 25 some odd % chance to drop the eye. If we can get him on a rainy day, I'd love to. =)

Didnt realise we'd hv to change our style as a guild.. wouldnt want that.

Only because it takes a very hardcore and gigantic guild full of people with absolutely no lives to get to them in time to tag ‘em and drop ‘em. It’s sad how most people will never get to fight these guys because of guilds like exo.

Just offering up my services if any of those farming for Eye of Shadows needs it. I have gone a couple of times with friends from MiSTiCA and a couple of times with Panda. I like it.... Anyway, if ya need help, catch me in game.

yea, i wasnt even aware that it could drop other places than off of azuregos. Ill definately be willing to help out and get this. I know squishies dont do so well when theyre getting beat on.

I'm farily certain the new dragons are 40man... from what was said on the test server.
