Kornith 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2010 So, my authenticator is on my Ipod Touch. It was recently doused in water, and no longer works. I'm hoping Blizz support can fix it before Tuesday, and I'm looking into the warranty- I bought the damn thing a few weeks ago... So yeah, a stupid happened. ImprezaFreak 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2010 When I got hacked, someone put an authenticator on my account. All I had to do was call Blizz and they removed it. Should work the same for you.
tji3380 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2010 If you have the serial number from the Authenticator loaded to your iPod, then you can have them remove it immediately by calling billing. If not then I think the process is a little slower, because they have to authenticate the account.
Kornith 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2010 Problem is that the Ipod itself was wrecked.
Trenton 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2010 There are only three ways to remove an authenticator. 1. You need to have the serial key numbers from boxes you used when you set you your World of Warcraft account. Original World of Warcraft, Burning Crusade, and the Wrath of the Lich King pins you used on your account. 2. Serial number from the authenticator 3. Authentic drivers license to copy and mail to Blizzard and show you're the true owner of the account
Kornith 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2010 Yeah... Looks like 3 is my only choice. The CD keys have been long lost, unless I can find my SC2 keys
