Daghostmaker 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 (edited) I'm surprised but this article seemed pretty interesting to me. Although it seems that he gets a bit of help from people, dude does still live in a cave. http://men.style.com/details/features/land...id=content_9817 Edited July 23, 2009 by Daghostmaker

Noreaster 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 Sure. I'd stay at a shelter, apply for case management, get on shelter plus care, apply for foodstamps/medicaid, make rounds of food pantries, get a free bus pass, use the interwebs at the library, get some things from the salvation army, etc etc.
Daghostmaker 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 The two lines that struck me as drawbacks were: "He's lived in the cave for 3 years and it smells like it." "Mice scurry over his body in the cave, and kissing bugs sometimes suck the blood from under his fingernails while he sleeps." Other than those little gems, living without relying on money seems like an appealing idea.
