Adramelach 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 So yea a few friends and myself are picking up dungeons and dragons. I have never played it before but one friend had a couple of the books so we're doing v3.5. I, of course, am playing a Paladin (named Adramelach McLovin') and we've played out a couple of campaigns to test it out. I was just wondering if people had any tips and such, or sites with premade campaigns and that type of thing. Oh and hello
dragonlgnd 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 I don't know any sites, but I'm sure there's tons and tons of them. There should be vast amounts of books/campaigns and tools to use at any local book store / hobby shop / used book place. I wouldn't go any further then 3.5 , I haven't heard good things about 4.0. The main tip I can think of , is play the character , in the end make the choice your character would make which isn't always the best of choices, but makes the game more fun. Also, if you are of legal age, do some drinking and play , lots of fun. I always tried to focus on my resistances ( Con, Reflex, and will ?) , all it takes is 1 fail and you find yourself going from a good situation to a bad. Vanin 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2009 Immediately burn all your character sheets, books and other accessories you bought for your DnD game. Delete your friend's number and put a message on your voicemail that you're dead if he ever calls you.
