Check this out:

http://www.google.com/gwt/n

Basically, go there, enter the URL you want to see, and it'll strip away all the garbage and give you a bare bones version of the site. Not exactly "mobile" site, but it'll make looking at something easier on your phone if you have a crappy connection.

=)

speaking of iPhone and wow, there's a Battle.net authenticator app that came out yesterday I think. Like the keychain, but free.

Shad you should make an FP app. Jump on that will ya.

It's just like the authenticator only on your iphone, anyone that has an iphone and doesn't have the device should get one imo. Being free = no excuse anymore!

I downloaded it just to see what it was like. It generates a serial number to link to your account and then you can generate the login number just like the key chain does. Pretty neat imo!

If I have one can I throw it away and get the app for my phone? So I can log in when I'm on the road? Say in ATL in 3 weeks...

Yeah, you can. You just have to go back into your account settings, and change the serial number to w/e the one is on the Iphone. just dont delete the app accidently =P

Couldn't you just d/l it again, get a new serial, and use the phone to login to your account settings and change the serial to the new one?

I think it would be tough to log into your account on the warcraft site to change it if you didn't have the code because you deleted the app that gives you the code.

Oh you need a code to login to your account on the website too?

guess that would make sense, but that would complicate things if you ever lost/broke your keychain wouldn't it?

Account admins would need to be able to reset the security settings for you, after validating your identity with your personal info/secret question. Can't have the keychain as a single point of catastrophic failure. :)

BTW, did anyone else notice that the Authenticator is no longer listed on the Bliz Store site? :(

Oh wait, I just looked and it's back now - But only the US version, not the one that could be shipped to Canada. And surprise, surprise, it's still sold out as it has been for weeks.

Sheesh!
