Erlin 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2009 before i read the article i was like, there are going to be magnets involved. this is a good idea, a charging pad. i have difficulty wrapping my mind around the possibility of powering pc's and tv's wirelessly but thats why im not a scientist or inventor. just from what i know it seems like that won't be something i'll see in my lifetime. battery technology is so slow, so i'll be surprised. Shadrende 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2009 Tesla wanted to do this back when he was competing with Edison. Edison was a hack. Tesla wanted to go wireless from the get go and make it so you could touch a lightbulb to any part of your house and it would light. Good to see someone finally doing similar work.
