I went to see a few movies during the Xmas vacations.

So I thought maybe I could share some impressions for those who like going out to movies.

Milk: Sean Penn is extremely good, the story is good and the gay rights in that time was as serious a problem as racism was a few years before. 8/10.

The Reader: Kate Winslet incredibly good could very well win the best actress oscar. A great movie.9/10.

Slumdog Millionnaire: the best movie I have seen since a long time very orginal way of explaining how it is in India. 10/10.

Frost/Nixon: I didn't expect to like that movie but it was very moving. Good performance from Frost and Nixon. 9/10.

Doubt: another excellent movie a great performance from Merryl Streep another serious option on best actress but I would vote for Kate.8,5/10.

If anyone has seen some of those movies I would like to hear from you. Saturday we are going to see The curious case of Benjamin Button.

Went to see the curious case of Benjamin Button; it is a must see movie. Especially with gf since it is quite emotionnal at the end.

But anyway movies don't seem to be a big thing for FP. Too busy grabbing epics or don't like the style of movies I like, whatever? :miner:

I went and see that, Bedtime Stories, and Marley and Me and Twilight. They are all pretty good.

Benjamin Button was pretty long, sad but really good. Marley and Me was ok...it's one of those cheesy movies but had a really sad ending. (I cried at the end). Bedtime stories is alright...just a dvd movie tho for me. It was a funny movie tho but not what I expected really. IF you like chick movies I would recommend Twilight, I like romantic love stories with a twist. Maybe some of you would think it is not good but for me it was. I have been reading the book series..(I didnt say saga..ok bob?) and I have been enjoying reading them and coming from me that is huge since I dont really read books. lol

But I cannot wait to watch The new Underworld, Terminator, and Harry Potter.

I watch movies more then I play WoW thanks to me going back to work, though admittedly I spend most of my time at work now playing Fallout 3.

But I have to say that aside from Milk most of the movies mentioned here don't intrest me which is mostly why I haven't posted.

NOOOOOOOOB

I don't watch many movies, not sure why. I watched Rescue Dawn, the Dark Knight, and Tropic Thunder over the break, but I had already seen all of those.

I have a nasty habit of restarting games like Elder Scrolls before I get far because I'm weird. But I've racked up a good 23 hours of fallout on the same guy. I want to make a chick though cause Black Widow is WAY more fun then Lady Killer.
