Rep Grinding

Anyone planning to rep up for any specific faction? If so, what are you planning to buy from them?

 

I'm thinking about The Sons of Hodir, but that'll take about a month of dailies. I'd like to get Reins of the Grand Ice Mammoth from them.

Ive never heard of that faction.

 

 

TBH, I only know of the dragon people, the walrus people, the argent crusade and valiance expedition.

It's the faction for Storm Pike and the instances up there.

These giants sound like a good idea. They also have the 22slot bag for tailors at exalted.

It's 3 dailies until Honored, then you get 2 more you can do until Revered, then you get another one. I assume you get rep from Lighting Halls too, so actually it may not take a month.

 

The shoulder enchants from them look pretty good too. You need Revered for those.

22 slot bag is awesome, but it takes 2 tailors and 16 days of cooldowns each to make. $$$$

The Paris Hilton bag sounds better at a steal of only 1200 gold.

 

What'd you end up making in leveling BW? I started Wrath with 1k gold, down to 800 after learning all my professions, then I am at about 1400 now.

 

Mike is making a killing on leather, and I am hording all my new dust/shards till we get max level.

I started out at 5900, I now have 8800. That's after 1k on flight training and god knows how much in talent training. I haven't played the AH much though. Ive sold maybe a dozen stacks of stuff, mostly cloth and meat. I did get a really nice BOE caster ring that'll probably fetch a lot. Debating whether to sell it or keep it for when I respec.

 

I'll probably go with The Oracles. Better for casters, or so I'm told.

 

And yeah, Haris' bags are probably going to be a better deal. The expense of making the bags is more than 1200G imho, which makes it a useless item. They should have made them cheaper in cost. requiring both tailoring specializations for the matts was a rather bad idea.

Caster? No more feral hykos?

 

I know Eni/Gynis are loving thier boomkin specs, and as someone that plays with em quite a bit, I enjoy it too. They did a great job with boomkins.

 

Or you going resto?

I had already planned to be a healer in my 10man group, and Restokin for Arenas. I only stayed feral for leveling cuz my caster gear sucks. Once I get a set crafted and a 187i level weapon I'll switch. So maybe a week or so. If I can find a caster spec I like for both PvP and PvE, I'll keep feral as a second spec when they implement the dual speccing.

Kir'in Tor is the first thing that grabs me (for Father), for the spell enchant on hat, the spellthread, and Exalted will save me 4000g on my Travellers Mammoth, iirc!

As Ret, with no ranged ability over 10 yards (unless Demon/UD) I wanted to gouge my eyes out seeing all the #@#@#$%@$'s grab the mob I'd been waiting on for an hour.

Anyone know how to get Kir'in Tor rep other than doing instances with the tabard? The only dailies I see on wowhead are cooking and jewelcrafting, neither of which are useful for me.

There is a buch of quests at stars rest for kirin tor, ive almost got to friendly!

Oh I already did those. I'm half way to Honored now and no quests left as far as I know, except the 1 for Violet Hold that I haven't done yet. I only need 3k rep too cuz I don't care for anything past Honored with them >.

I really want a Tabard of the Ebon Blade but at 75 i'd get instagibbed in Icecrown :<
