Thoughts on old dungeons

So yesterday I got to thinking of some of the old dungeons and bosses, remembering how cool some of the fights were, and how different from a normal tank and spank they got.

 

Whats your favorite and your most hated boss fight?

 

 

Favorite - I think Hakkar was , the poison thing was cool , and I liked that you could skip right to him , but he was stronger with the other bosses up.

 

 

Most hated - either Twin Emps or the last boss in AQ 20 , still not sure which.

Worse = Huhuran. As a raid leader, nothings worse than having to keep everyone together after a night of wipes where you wait for 30 min shield wall cooldowns.

 

Most fun for me was always Onyxia. =)

hated? patchwerk, i didn't even know what he looked like for weeks... i spent so much time healing and slamming pots trying to keep up.

 

i liked heigan, even though we never beat him. anything where i got to actually move and not stay glued in one spot healing was always nice.

Huhuran is definately up there.

 

I loved Deadmines due to it being the only instance with voice acting as well as Dire Maul in General. I typically didn't like raid bosses with the exception of Razorgore horde-side where we would have our designated tanks run around naked and play "You get hit, you lose" while the Shamans would have Earthbind totems set up in a grid to maximize effiiciency.

 

Jin'do and Sartura also hold special places in my heart due to them being the first bosses i tanked on my Feral Druid (Sartura popped my tanking cherry).
