Erlin 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2008 you have to be signed into gmail and it can be done through a web browser, msn and aim use applications. other than that they are pretty similar. aim and MSN have more advanced features google talk is pretty much just chatting only. stangmeister 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2008 so like, you have to make a buddy list and all that? im bored at my new job, so I need to find ways of distracting myself. anyone use it?
Fiordelisa 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2008 I use it at work so my boss won't know I'm chatting with people, much more discreet. It basically automatically creates your buddy list from your address book.
Erlin 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2008 yea basically anyone in your address book who has a gmail account is on your buddy list. thats another stipulation, only gmail to gmail instant messaging. can't google talk to someone who has hotmail, at least i think it's restricted to that. Lyyna 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2008 I just use Meebo.com @ work. You can log in to AIM, Yahoo, MSN or Googletalk all through that site.
